i sold most of my REQ for ZRX (10k) and just held for six months - that's where most of the gains came from, honestly.
the rest was gained by aggressively swapping between ZRX, BAT, LINK, KNC, RCN, and REQ - buying dips and selling peaks. swapping from one to another whenever what i was holding significantly outperformed what i was watching, offsetting my risk/exposure that way.

because someone had hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of buy orders for REQ about 10% below market price, preventing it from flash crashing.
someone KNEW that millions of tokens were gonna get market sold over a period of a couple hours. very likely the same person who hacked/phished the wikimedia rep to make it appear like wikimedia had backed out of the partnership. this suggests insider knowledge.
