A lot of my friends get highly irritable when having periods, but none of them lashed out at me or at my male friends when we were bothering them on that time of the month, some of them would choose to distance themselves by staying on their homes in order to not cause any trouble.
It depends on every person, not everyone will act upon their internal problems. To put it shortly you can get irritated, but you can't just act like a bitch based on it.
Now, onto the whole hormones thing. It may not be justifiable but it is understandable, at that point is something that is out of your power, you decide if taking this as a proper justification for your actions or not, the law is the one that is going to decide if you go to jail or not. If you decide to get medication or seek a professional to treat the problem is a totally different thing, that must be analyzed on its own.

Ok, I completely agree with this. But I still think that while this is understandable, it is upon different people (and the law) to deem those actions as justified or not.
In my case, I don't think that in most of the cases a hormonal disorder can completely justify someone's actions but those can help me understand the scenario and create a conclusion from it.
In other words, I don't think that hormones (and other stuff that I mentioned before) can justify people acting like cunts, but these clearly play a role in the behavior.
