There is a Rebirth of Pre-abrahamic religions in europa and the world.
Most of these are nature based religions with multiple deities.
Now the thing is all these pagan faiths are practicaly undocumentet and some lunatics and esoteric kultists just make up silly rules on the fly and claim authority.
So why doesnt Japan promote shinto outside of its country. Shinto is very similar to a lot of nature religions, but its not a cesspool of new-age lunatics and it is somewhat etablished and has structures. To me it seems Shinto is the only religion that does not tie you to authority or ask of you to commit genocide, to me it seems an ideal faith for all people who had enough of the cruel abrahamic god but dont wanna go full atheistic.
Shinto is hard to turn into a business you can make money off of while turning people against each other, so the rich and powerful are not interested in it.

There is no formal introduction ritual to shinto and most people just go to matsuri. I dont see why you have to be japanese to be shinto.

Organised religion is a spook, you don’t need some priest niggers or faggy temples to honour the dead and seek inner peace. You don’t need autistic folklore to know places where people have suffered just don’t “feel right”. Follow your gut, there is an inherent spirituality to agnosticism.
