Thinking of buying XRP, reddit seems very hyped, almost so much that they are upvoting irrelevant or even bogus articles, but even so there seems to be potential.
Im like 90% sure it will be profitable in the long run but still losing money is also pointless.

Should I buy 500€ to 2K€. If it crashes well I will survive. If it rises good enough, if it explodes maybe an early pension.

SUMMER BULL RUN 20K18 explain

Sorry Peterson, I think even the Pajeets have better logic than you. You're buying something that will go to 1 sat when you could be buying a coin at 1 sat that literally can't fall any lower.

HAHA IM PICKLE RICK MOTHA FUCKA
SUMMER BULL RUN 20K18 COMMENCE WOOOOOOO PICKLE RICK

you're saying we should wait till it goes 1 satoshi?

No, buy something now at 1 sat. What the fuck is it going to do, go to half a sat?

buy 1000 alt coins for 1 satoshi for maybe it explodes?

You literally can't lose. I would even bet you money that there's no way all your 1 sat coins will stay at 1 sat forever, how could they? What the heck is Ripple going to do, moon to 1 trillion in 5 years best case scenario and then you can buy a Honda Civic? Or buy a few coins at 1 sat and sell at 1000 sats and be a millionaire for the cost of a Honda Civic.

If you buy XRP, make sure you're in it for the long haul.
I'd recommend having a read up on what Ripple (the company) are doing with XRP, and have a look into their xCurrent and xRapid products.
Then you will start to see how XRP will succeed in the future.

Good luck OP.

I see what you mean and it is worth considering but I'm guessing it will be pain in the ass to start collecting every fucking no name coin in the hopes that this incrreases. no pain no gain I suppose.

Yes definately would be for the long haul. And from the climate it just it has to rise definately but theres always a chance that it crashes or whatever. I think I will but I'm biding my time atm.

XRP is a long hold, I bought at 19 cents with the intent of holding until at least after 2020... if you can wait 5-10 years its going to pay off

Assuming you bought before january, any reason you didnt sell then?

I got into IdealCash at 1 sat and it went 40x in a month but it's currently at 15 sat because a whale is trying to dump. I figured it was the best coin because it has like 3 second transaction times, fast enough for real life use. Ripple is also fast, but it's sketchy how much the company owns.

"the evidence we’ve gathered indicates that the use of XRP is a game changer"

Better jump in quickly OP

BUY BUY BUY

The good thing about XRP is that there's a lot of it, so its easy to understand and adopt it, where BTC and the satoshis aren't as easy for real normies.

Good investment or not, how can you guys live with yourselves by supporting banks?

please buy cripple fellow 4chinners
m-moon soon lambos for all

It's not just Reddit that is hyped about it...

Just ignore Reddit and focus on the facts. They have been around for a long time, and a lot of banks already use xCurrent. Santander is going to be adopting xRapid soon, and going forward, other banks won't be bale to afford not to use xRapid.

It's a long-term investment, but you can make returns within a couple of years. Holding for at least 5 will make you considerably wealthy.

It doesn't matter if we don't, they're still going to be here. If you really care, then make some money off of the banks' interest in Ripple, and use that money against the banks.

Early pension won't happen with XRP, you should buy RLC instead

why?

its not like there is any real alternative.

cryptos are cheaper than the current systems and will thus have to be adopted in the long run. currently there is no such thing as /ourcoin/ that can equal ripple in fullfilling the need of business.

it is however still an improvement. you cant tax cryptos. if everything goes according to ((their)) plan ripple will be the only malicious entity left

XRP will be a 5 dollar coin in 2018. Just wait. Still holding on to my 50k.

I really don't understand this meme. These are not opposing concepts. XRP is a coin made for banks, but banks won't use it. How hard is that to understand

Not just the meme you dont understand it seems

Because Im not selling until at least $10

funny thing is, people see banks as a whole and dont realize the diference between small banks and big banks, in the current system (swift) small banks have less connections than big banks so they have to pay intermediaries (big banks) that are their competition, to send money to a bank that the small bank doesnt has a connection to, in other words, the current system further empowers big banks and allow them a more abusive position.
as a crypto investor i think a currency with all the properties it needs to replace the banks and become a global currency doesnt exist yet

this

bump for smart comment

Swift using link will end this shit coin.

This

nigger promoting with awful screeching noises, nasty whores shilling on twitter, main guy looks like the subhuman dictionary pic. billions of centrally owned and controlled coins. get xrp is the choice of apes

Nah, Ripple been in the game for too long.

It doesn’t even hold a candle to the banking partnerships of swift.

but forex in general will be made obsolete by bitcoin/the other base currencies

on a long enough timeline it is more profitable to hold bitcoin than xrp because xrp will lose value in satoshi. one could, however, buy into xrp now, and flip when the satoshi vlaue is higher than it is now.

i think greed would get the better of me and even if i fuck it up, id still tell myself "but at least im up in fiat"

all i need is to say "yes, i bought one full bitcoin in 2021" when its 2028. normies will admire my balls, but not as much as if id tell them "yeah i bought in 2017". thats useful because they want to feel like theyre not completely retarded

Dude, trust me on this.

Link will do fine, but it would take a long time to overtake Ripple.

but you could've sold and then and boguht again?

The only thing sustaining ripple is normie hype just like TRON.

I get the feeling he didn't buy very much even when it was 19 cents. This is common with people who don't own very much of a crypto, they hold their meager bag, waiting for it to be some ridiculous value since even an ATH still won't be that profitable with how little they own.

I can speak for myself as someone who also bought at the $0.19 range. I didn't sell in January because I fully subscribed to the HODL meme. I'm still confident XRP will reach its former ATH and break new ones, but I've at least learned that HODL is a meme and it's important to take profits after huge runs.

well at the very least you're still in profit range.

the fact that you all calculate the ripple value in usd tells me how fucking stupi dit is to buy this piece of shit
mostly all of you have lost satoshi value and will keep losing satoshi value
dont deny it
do you remember the sat value when you bought in?

It could be trillison satoshi but if the real world value is few cents, its pretty pointlesss?

Bitcoin has scaling and governance issues that will stunt its growth long term
