As an Irishman living in Sweden I can admit the taste made me gag at first.
I was not prepared for the salty punch.
But with boiled eggs and on Knäckebrod it's really good. My wife is Swedish and she eats it's almost everyday. I'm not quite there yet but a few times per week is ok.
(also, the selection of "tube foods" is insane in Swedish grocery stores)
