I'm taking my 2nd to last term at a community college and every day I want to put a bullet in my brain. I am going to be 26 this November and can't relate to any of my peers.

After high school, despite doing extremely well and being rewarded in cash by my high school for being a top student in numerous subjects, I was too autistic to apply for college and the little family I have out here was unreliable. After 3 years of being a NEET, I finally came out of a "depression" and gained the motivation to go to post-secondary school for a profession that pays decently. I requested student aid from the government just as the school year started, knowing that I would have to rely on them because I can't rely on anyone else as a friendless and familyless faggot. The government was taking its precious time reviewing my request, and after 2 months of waiting, it has become unfeasible to afford transportation to and from school. No other option but to drop out of the course, yet still pay for it, because the refund policy says that one must pay for the entirety of the course if he has attended for a certain amount of time.

I'm getting my teacher credential at Cal State Long Beach currently and I have a few questions.

1. Why CSULA of all places? It's a terrible school.
2. Why wait until now to get your credential?
3. One to two years? Did you not plan out for this at all? I got my BA this past May and all that the credential is taking me is one semester more, so I am getting my credential, hopefully, this December. What the fuck, man?

Dumbest shit i have ever read. The cal state long beach credential program does not even require you to pass the CSET. They are going to ask you this in the interview.

I only did a semester. In that time I had any conversation with another person about 6 times. People were just already in groups, lecterours gave out the infomation and that was it and there were only meme clubs and no social events.
And add that to me studying IT which is cancer i just couldn't do it. It fucked my mental health and the uni basically just sends you automated emails and ticks you off as knowing shit you pass.

I felt socially isolated and hated my major (finance). By the end I wasn't even going to classes anymore and couldn't leave my room without intense anxiety.

I've been going to community college for a couple years now and that's been a lot better, would recommend for anyone disillusioned with a 4-year institution

Zero student debt. I paid both two years at Cerritos College and two years at CSULB out of pocket. You don't need to take time off in order to "work and save money" unless you are studying to be a surgeon. Los Angeles is full of warehouses that will be flexible to your school schedule (or child support/criminal court dates if we are being sincere) and let you work all the overtime you want. There is no reason why someone should not be able to work full time and be a student full time. I am six years younger than you and about to get the credential you will not get until to years from now and both my education and car are completely paid off.
