I used to think the MUH HERITAGE thing was just a meme until I stumbled upon this guy’s profile.
Why do we do this?

Notice how it’s always the mainstream heritages who are memes
Also hate it how every “German” acts Bavarian no matter where in Germany their family came from
English Americans don’t care, Slavics and Eastern Europeans are just cringy but otherwise still have their parents culture.
>Slavics and Eastern Europeans are just cringy
we are cringy even back home, also slavic people never really integrate, we are just not obnoxious and noticeable like irish or mexicans
Croatian migrants in Peru actually assimilated well, but they stick out like a sore thumb because of the last names
>5% Cherokee Indian
Kek wh*Te Americans sure do love claiming native ancestry. Deep down, they know they're nothing but foreign squatters who don't belong in this continent.
you dont have to assimilate if you dont act obnoxiously bringing your retard ethnic "food" and monkey customs wherever you go
Someone post the r/the_donald screenshot pls
No. It physically hurts and it’s really embarrassing
>we
WHY DO MUTTS ALWAYS LARP AS CHEROKEE? LITERALLY NO OTHER TRIBE
>scottish
>irish
>scotch irish
He is just full of crap.
maybe it's this killer song, or they like the Jeep
That's the only native ethnicity they know.
They assimilated the most, I think
I’m 1/4 Slav, so yes u do integrate
My ancestors :)
it's always wypipo doing it because they can actually trace back that far
KANGposting is a thing because 1in8 americans can really only go as far back to some plantation in the south, if that
Not true. My father's family came from Ukraine and now the only thing we have in common with Ukraine is having a last name people don't understand.
Honestly now. Had a woman tell me that just yesterday. Literally "I'm Irish and Cherokee". Glad I never caught this bug. That fact alone makes me think he never got a test done, and I also wouldn't be surprised in the least if he identifies as Irish. Not "Irish American", not "Irish-descended", just "Irish".
It's the only tribe in the mainland USA that still have any political and cultural relevance, the rest are content with being alcoholics that have their habits paid off by their Chinese run casinos
they assimilated, intermixed, and some of them were never pushed westward so it's actually quite feasible for someone to have cherokee ancestry especially if they're from that part of the country
oddly though I think the people most likely to have some and be unaware of it is New Englanders as some tribes were mostly assimilated
Their education system is shit. In Canada we eve learn the difference between the Algonquin language groups instead of assuming they were all one tribe.
You should anglicize bizarre names, for the good of your descendants.
Imagine being this much of a cuck lol
imagine have a name that looks like a sound effect
>Why do we do this?
Because it's perfectly acceptable to be proud of being "German" or "Irish" but if you say you're proud of being a white American then you're a nazi. Hence you have people who, when searching for an acceptable ethnic identity, attach themselves to an amalgam of places they've never been and cultures they know nothing about because the alternatives are castigation or deracination.
