Is anyone here old enough to remember Yugoslavia? Was it as good as people say it was, compared to other Eastern Bloc countries?
Have a Yugoslavian mauser to start off the thread
Is anyone here old enough to remember Yugoslavia? Was it as good as people say it was...
Bosniak who remembers some stuff here ama
How was life compared to Germany?
Have you ever sucked of a black man?
When I was growing up in the 90s, my Serbian friend's parents had a picture of Tito hanging on the wall.
*sip*
Ahhhhh... Yugoslavia, now THAT was a country
on the Itchy & Scratchy CD-ROM, is there a way to get out of the dungeon without a wizard's key?
no but my parents tell me stories of their lives and it doesnt seem too bad
We lived in a small rural village when the war broke out
Some bosnians tried to "recruit" my father aka take him and force him to fight. He said fuck no, made his way to thr closest UN tent, and went to Germany with me and my mother. I was around 7 when this happened.

What's up with all the trash?
have you ever asked your dad why he didn't defend his people and chose to flee instead?
stop making all of us burgers look like assholes.
coming from a former soldier, i can tell you not everyone needs to or should be a soldier.
yes, I remember it, it's actually still on my large wall map
Alen?
a lot of people from Jow Forums seem to live like slobs, if ever you've been around battlestation threads, I think it's youthful laziness.
Protecting your family is more important. His dad isn't exactly like the refugees today where you see grown men flee, leaving their families behind just so they can claim benefits in Europe
>stop making all of us burgers look like assholes.
wasn't being an asshole, I would ask my dad this if it were the same situation
maybe my hypothetical dad would say he didn't feel a connection to his people or valued his life more, and i would respect it.
>coming from a former soldier, i can tell you not everyone needs to or should be a soldier.
not comparable. america isn't under attack, joining the army isn't necessary for the average joe rn obviously.
who made you the arbitrator of good vs bad refugee?
All those economic migrants that people call refugees are usually kids (male) who don't have families yet, the actual refugees fleeing war are usually legitimate as far as i can tell. I'm sure some are douches just doing the moral equivalent of draft dodging, but every group has its black sheep anyway.
I remember yugoslavia but it was essentially just serbia + montenegro and never knew much about it
Moje ime je Nedzad
No need to ask him, he had a family he needed to protect and he wasn't going to die for this stupid war and leave me, my sister and my mother alone
Nedzadele :3
it was ostensibly more than that if you're still in germany to this day, but i don't know you or your situation or your father's situation so i can't judge i guess
also as an aside, yeah the war itself was stupid but the cause wasn't, bosnaik civilians were being slaughtered, dying the deaths of dogs.
