Space agencies thread

Time to dive in the world that is international space agencies again.
What has your nearest space agency been up to?
Just a while after the Japanese sent satellites meant to test the feasibility of a space elevator;

The Chinese claim to have discovered a fiber that could be used to make a space elevator a reality. Things are accelerating.

I wonder how other space agencies like NASA and ESA will respond to this.

Just build a orbital ring.

There's Helium-3 on the Moon, right? It could be used as fuel for fusion reactors given it is economically feasible
