I grew up on a farm that I stand to inherit soon but I am a software developer by trade and know next to nothing about farming. Also it's deep in the third world (subsaharan africa)
My older brother also stands to inherit the other half of the farm. How do I go about selling it to him?
I want to get a good deal but I also don't want to shit on him for the sake of our future family relationship.
The land is extremely profitable and it's massive - it's a huge commercial farm in the middle of nowhere. Similar farmland was sold for $700,000 and it was only 75% of this plot and only tilled for a few years.
tokenize your shares and dump them on idex to weed and heroin farmers

Instigate a white rebellion to re seize the government
Charles White
>Instigate a white rebellion to re seize the government >Zambian population: 16.7 million >White Zambian Population: 50,000 user, I...
>b-but you posted a rhodesian wojak, how are you zambian? we got kicked out of zimbabwe in the land reform act
Jack Gomez
No I already plan on using the revenue to scale my business, buy several small rental properties back in the states(when the housing market slows ofc), and use the rest for other businesses I plan on starting.
Xavier Young
I feel genuinely sad whenever I see or hear anything related to Rhodesia. I'm sorry, user. I'll volunteer if there's ever a white rebellion.
I was forced to sell our family farm for $200k USD after it was appraised in 2007 for $1.2mm. Shit's wack. Not only did I lose that whole side of the family, I got no money out of it. I dunno how it works in your country but I would imagine by law you're required to 50:50 with your brother? I would sell your half and get out of Africa before it gets totally overrun. Good luck.
Hudson Sanchez
Where was this
Michael Hernandez
can't do it on my own, anons.
And before I take the country I'd be taking the old farm back, pic related.
That said, the Zambian government was very generous when offering us land, and we've made it extremely productive over the last 16 years, so its very valuable.
Where was that?

go fucking back and stay there

What the fuck, why? 2007 was the height of the property boom as well
Adam Barnes
Thanks for your thoughts, user. We're getting the last laugh though - most of the food we sell is exported right back to Zimbabwe, the same country that kicked us out over a decade ago.
Bentley Butler
US gov/ corporations can seize land and hire appraisers to low ball the value of land It’s bullshit
Juan Lewis
That's absurd. Honestly that's something I'd expect from Kaunda or Mugabe, but not the US.

Sorry, I worded my rambling really weird. My family was alive and well in 2007 when it was appraised. They all died in relatively quick succession in the last few years, and due to a real estate contract my grandfather agreed to, I had to sell it in 2016. It was only 20 acres but it meant a lot to me. Farming, shooting guns, riding ATVs, camping out, hunting, etc. All of my hobbies have been shattered and I live in a development with my dad now. I miss it :( If you can keep it and remain safe and profitable I would do it, but Africa and what goes on there like in SA would make me nervous. What do/did you farm? We did mainly tomatoes, peppers, squash, etc. and sold locally. We were essentially a small but productive "market garden."
Elijah Diaz
the “freedom” of the US is largely a sham This is wat frightens me, the West is only a few demographic steps from suffering your fate
Colton Wood
That's tiny user.
To give you an idea the entire farm is 73,000 acres, about 65,000 of which is developed and productive, the rest is bush, lakefront, and a small amount is the village where most of the workers come from
still sad though, sorry user :(
Liam Nelson
>the West is only a few demographic steps from suffering your fate We're 0.02% of Zambia's population.
Logan Barnes
Oh shit, sorry user. My personal story came from a new highway being built, landowners of said area nearby got notoriously screwed on appraisals by the state, A few held out with weapons and got more favorable deals
Jose Jackson
Was referring more to SA Isn’t Zambia fairly hospitable to whites?
US is at 60% white, within a couple decades it will be below 50%... hello brazilification Commie land
Owen Peterson
I can't even picture 73,000 acres wow. That would be worth billions here. Regardless of what happens, I hope it works out for you.
That's usually the case with eminent domain. It's bullshit. My grandfather continued to work the land until the week he died at the age of 85. Lots of life lessons and memories made so it isn't a total loss.
Colton Baker
>Isn’t Zambia fairly hospitable to whites? Yes, they actually are. We even had a white PM in 2014. He's a sellout and a marxist though, fuck him
David Long
It's worth(apparently) about 1.5 million here. That's the cost of living in the third world.
Wyatt Perry
You fucking faggot. You have a chance to live the rest of your life away from the daily grind. Hire a few workers and build yourself a house to get married and raise children in. If you actually enjoy programming you can do it in your spare time.
Jordan Allen
In a super majority non white country, the government either has to be communist or authoritarian unfortunately
Cooper Reed
>You have a chance to live the rest of your life away from the daily grind. You have to realize JUST how isolated we are. Southern Zambia has one (1) airport in Livingstone that rarely has flights. It's 7 hours away. Lusaka is even further. South africa is several DAYS travel through unsafe and inhospitable land. There are three white families within 500 miles of my home. I was in a relationship with the ONE white girl my age for several years and after that I didn't have anyone.
Zambia is my home but I want to join the modern world. I'm building SaaS products for farmers based on problems our farm has and I want to scale that to a multi-million dollar businesses, a business with MUCH lower margins than farming.
We don't all "grind" out our lives at Wendy's my dude. I actually like my job in tech.

>I'm building SaaS products for farmers based on problems our farm has and I want to scale that to a multi-million dollar businesses Look into modul trade. Especially if you're planning to trade cross-border. It will be useful for you by end of year and likely reduce your overall trading costs, give you and your customers access to liquidity and insurance, escrow options, etc. It will be easier for you to attract new customers in part because they need to trust you less to do business, and middlemen fees are substantially reduced.

Well one product I am getting ready to release soon is this software that looks into electricity and power output of a farm and and shows the client how to cut down on their power bill by, in the case of our farm, 40%. That's a huge deal and will save people tens of thousands so I'm charging $3000 a year for that, what do you think?0
Essentially its attached to the metre, reads out where the electricity is being spent, and gives you a full report on it.
Kevin Morris
what was the point of that

Leave niggerland, go to America to become fat, Europe to become gay or Australia to become a world-class asshole. Africa is for niggers only, leave them alone in their stupid little wars and aids.
Sell the land as fair as possible, go to whiteland and buy a property. You don't belong in Africa pal
