Why are DNA sites so terrible at detecting French ancestry? My mother is French, but I apparently have no French ancestry and am 45% Northwestern European instead.
Why are DNA sites so terrible at detecting French ancestry? My mother is French...
because you dont underrstand how thos jew sites are working goi
Yeah it's a known issue. Here's the results of another French user
French is a fake ethnicity.
French are basically darker germans
Statistics on ethnicity are forbidden in France, that's why there is no DNA database to work with.
what a retard lmao
I don't see how that matters, I think DNA websites just have trouble distinguishing French people from other Northwestern European populations, mainly because France is the cumdump of Europe and French people are the quintessential Euromutts.
"Charlemagne" was German (Karl der Große)
yes, his german grand father charles martel also saved europe from arabs
Because we are the original mutts, we're just a mix of Germanics, Celts, Latins, Iberians and so on, with the degrees variating from each regions.
How is that related in any ways to DNA tests?
>t. not allowed to know how many blacks lives in his cunt
this is not how those sites are working stupid vlad
France outlaws DNA sampling because it would cause a race riot.
Why is he remembered by his French name then? English is the only that matters m8, get over it.
Not really, we are darker Brits.
Moron.
i had the same problem. one of my parents is half french but has less than one percent 'french and german' on 23andme. ancestrydna gave me zero french. same with living livingdna which seemed to give italian and german instead of any french.
Is this bait?
Because French is not an ethnicity my mutt friend
But British is?
having said 5% french doesn't mean 5% of your ancestors were french.. it means only 5% of your dna is sharing the same haplogroups as a bunch of french samples, maybe your brother will share more or even less.
Of course it is
In case you are blind, Britain is an island
And Islands are genetic isolated
>Islands are genetic isolated
brah...
So much that they could be separated in an european genetic continuum
So could a lot of groups on the mainland. Britain was invaded numerous times for thousands of years and they're real mutts. I imagine those websites categorize places by genes common in them rather than their "pure" genes.
Brits are actually half-French
>sharing the same haplogroups as a bunch of french samples,
haplogroups are different to autosomal dna arent they? anyway, if i have one 100% french grandparent youd assume id get at least some french dna in my results.
Because British autosomal dna ≠ british in britain
As you can see in the south-east they are less "british" which would be stupid since they are using modern samples
And everyone in Britain should be 100% british in that case
Half is too farfetch also "French doesn't mean anything"
>if i have one 100% french grandparent youd assume id get at least some french dna in my results.
no, you can't determine how much your french grandmother will share of her dna, you can unironically share more dna ancestry with your grand grand grand father than with your own mother
No you can't
Weak recessive frog genes
yes you can fucking italian, if you don't know how genetic work stick to your cuck fantasy
>share more dna ancestry with your grand grand grand father than with your own mother
really? thats surprising. anyway its pretty clear 23andme has a problem identifying french dna. like i said my half french mother got less than 1% "french" on her results and i highly doubt she inherited 99% of her dna from one parent.
You inherit about 50% of dna from your mother
While your grand grandx3 father is only ~6%
maybe your mother was told she was french and she's not, why do you care btw, it will not give you any advantages being from one or another haplogroup.
fucking retard lmao, go read a book from mendel if you dont know how genetic works
My mother's turkish and her family is at least 3 generations back but apparently i don't have turkish dna
Wtf
t. retard
Kek
Because English has a lot of french words
>i pretend to be a retard because it's le so funny
DNA sites who are so popular this days are a scam.
>How accurate are these tests when it comes to determining ethnicity and genealogy?
>We don’t really know, because the companies selling these services—and there are close to 40 of them—don’t share their data, and their methods are not validated by an independent group of scientists and there are not agreed-upon standards of accuracy. People have sent their DNA to several of these companies and found differences in the results—though not necessarily radical differences. So you have to look at the percentages you receive back with skepticism.
>maybe your mother was told she was french and she's not,
apparently it happens with a lot of french people who do the test, rather than getting results in the "french and german" category it instead registers as "broadly northwestern european".
>why do you care btw, it will not give you any advantages being from one or another haplogroup.
i know my y haplogroup (R1b L21) and my maternal haplogroup (U5b1). i care about the accuracy of the test because i paid money for it.
> i don't have turkish dna
what did you get instead?
German.
French is a skeletal.and racial ethnicity, Cro Magnid which it shares with Germans, Brits and nords
France, Scandinavia, Germany, Britain and the low countries are a single people.
>France is the cumdump of Europe
how come?
>Because French is not an ethnicity
why do i keep seeing this meme
The britsh french german scandi should all speak old norse, rever Odin, and have a single country with a federal parliament.
donc vous n'êtes pas français
Kill yourself. Do it now.
He is. French people often get "Broadly Northwestern European" instead of French & German.
I'm curious to see how much of a mutt I really am. Is there a DNA site that is generally seen as more accurate than the others or one that gives more or more specific information?
Why are you replying to yourself?
They're my results, i received them early this morning.
Why did you save them exactly?
>or more specific information?
theres one called livingdna which gives a detailed breakdown of all of the regions of the uk so its good if you are mostly english. they are a new company though and they seem to have a problem with french dna (it shows up as german and italian) and irish dna (shows up as scottish).
>Willingly giving your DNA to some random company which adds it in the DNA bank so that later on they could clone you, brainwash the clone to their liking and then kill you and replace you with the clone so that nobody would suspect it.
Cause your a mutt
Because the french are mutts and so are you
>muh heritage
Pretty based, tb h
What about Eurogenes K36 of Gedmed? Its pretty specific
