These mushrooms grow in tree bark. They belong to Armillaria family.

My friend persuaded me to collect them for the first time in my life. Usually, when i am in woods, i collect only imleria badia and boletus edulis, just like majority of average Poles ;)

Armillaria ?
We call them oпятa

>We call them oпятa

We call them "opieńki"

ah yeah. we call them the "cold mushroom"

nice! bon appetit

thx

how are you preparing them? i personally have never picked them, but my grandparents used to marinade them

what is it with foreigners and collecting mushrooms?

I will make a sauce with sour cream out of them.

1 kg of mushrooms, half a liter of milk, 1 large onion
balls of english herbs, bay leaf, salt, pepper cream and flour. I will cook mushrooms in hot water after cleaning them, and then i will remove the foam that appears during cooking, and put the cooked mushrooms to the vitrified onion+herb long with milk, and i will broil it for some time. And afterwards i will flavour it with cream and flour and cook it again.

Old people used to do it here too when I was a kid

>what is it with foreigners and collecting mushrooms?

Such things like beaches/sea, mountains and woods belong to the nation in Poland. They are property of all citizens of Poland, they don't belong to any companies or private owners, so you can use them for your individual usage as much as you want, as long as you don't make business out of it and use it only for your house/family needs. That's why collecting mushrooms is fully legal in Poland, and one doesn't need to pay for entrance the woods like in other European countries. It is a traditional "culinary tourism" of Polish families: driving out of the city far away to some remote woods, preferably near hills to spend times in a healthy manner and collect a lot of mushrooms to make food out of them later.

sounds gay

ewww isnt half the country contanimated anyway?
wouldnt collect and eat aynthing from the ground east of the rhine ...

Comfy thread user, thank you

I feel sorry for you..

>sounds gay

I remember mushroom collecting only from childhood because parents were taking me by car to woods every year. But i collect mushrooms very rarely as an adult person. I usually buy them in supermarket just like everyone. Anyway, i changed my way of life to more active, i go everyday to gym and try to make my every day as active as possible, so collecting mushrooms is also an option, along with traveling that i do very often

why? I am Siberian German so everything is fine

Opyata

i thought you werent lifting and wanted to avoid that
are you that one user that lost a lot of weight and really like beer?

Mushroom picking is so popular here that theres lawas on how much you can take out of the forrest at once
Same with chestnuts this time of year

Oh also we call them opёnki sometimes

our old property had two bigass walnut trees
every autumn we had so much walnuts collected that we didnt know what to do with them
so much money saved considering how much nut cost these days, especially wlanuts

It looks both disgusting and delicious at the same time.

the mushrooms taste like nothing

there's no law for mushrooms here, but there's a silent agreement about nuts that you shouldn't pick them too early in the season

>are you that one user that lost a lot of weight and really like beer?

Yup, its me. I am doing 1 hour of lifting and 1 hour of cardio one day and 2 hours of cardio second day, thanks to this i can go to gym everyday and let my muscles regenerate themselves. Lifting every day is not healthy. Anyway, i am using mainly gym machines such as chest press, pectoral machine, low row, ergometer, leg curl, abdominal crunch and so on. I am not doing traditional lifting with assistance yet, i need to create enough muscles for this yet and it will take at least one year yet.

no need for hurry, take your time
as long as you are on the right path everything is fine
eventually you will look better than the average guyv in no time, and that alone is a confidence boost

excellent choice

>mushrooms taste like nothing
t. ruined his pallate with sugar

is this type of basket common in switzerland? i thought only poorfag countries (like eesti) used those

that would be my mom then

It look exactly like the one I use so yes I think

>one doesn't need to pay for entrance the woods like in other European countries
>paying for entrance to forests
they do WHAT?

Attached: 1522646241833.jpg (350x234, 18K)

idk about paying, but access to natural resources can be limited to a varying degree in different countries

I think it's illegal to use bags that don't let the spores fall on the ground here

In Poland everything can be privatized except of woods and health care. A Pole for some irrational reason considers woods as "national property" and instinctively thinks that if woods stop being a public property, then Poland will die. Every Pole feels that woods is his property, and that every Pole should have full access to it without paying. Public health care is extremely disfunctional here, but Poles are so demoralized by socialism that they prefer to have it in such shitty form than to let free market regulate it. Anyway, when politicians want to generate hatred for their opponents they always accuse them of plans of privatisation of woods. The extreme hate-generating accusation that was made against political party that lost power in Poland lately (Platforma Obywatelska) was that they wanted to privatize Polish woods in order to pay money to Jewish "restitution organisations". Highest level of treason.

what about coal
poles for some reason love coal, thats why your woman are such huge coalburners

zobacz jak łuskwiak wygląda to będziesz wiedział co masz

germs are too scared to go into the woods these days XD

Attached: BOMBERHARISDOITAGAIN.png (441x439, 62K)

good thing i am neither germ nor russshit

>what about coal

Miners were always an "aristocracy of proletariat" in Poland, but mainly thanks to communism that fetishized them for some reason. This fetishization was so strong that it is still valid in capitalist Poland. A miner is considered as a "hard working person" who deserves a special respect like over-averagely high wage and various privileges. So Poles pay billions dollars from their wallets to fund donations to mines that don't generate revenue at all, so they wouldn't go bankrupt and so miners would have their well paid jobs. And at the same time we import 3x cheaper coal from our geopolitical enemy: Russia.

Attached: polish miners.jpg (1500x1000, 375K)

>So Poles pay billions dollars
no its germany that pays poland

>no its germany that pays poland

Germany never paid Poland for anything, it was always stealing money from us. It has a chance to pay 300 bln dollar of war reparations now and you see how they squeal, like a butchered pig.

I want to pick mushrooms with Poles :(

>germany that pays poland

just get these merkels out of your brain, hans

just do it

Attached: 44bacfaed77024fbc1367bd116cca89d.gif (360x288, 1.07M)

i have been once in the us but never on mushroomhunting...;(

>Miners were always an "aristocracy of proletariat" in Poland, but mainly thanks to communism that fetishized them for some reason

That's because Russian pigs needed a lot of coal mines in Poland because they were stealing our coal with using "obligatory supplies". So they spread a cult of miner.

How much time do you typically spend to get a decent amount? I knew mushroom foraging was a thing but had no idea it was a big deal in Poland. I always wanted to do it

Not the poster you talked too, but it depends on various factors. Village people know the best: they can tell you a day you should go for mushrooms on the basis of weather, temperature, humidity and proper week of month. They will also tell you the place. So if you listen to them, you will have basket full of mushrooms in less than hour. But if you are a man living in a city who doesnt listen to village people advices, it is just a matter of luck.

How many dogs do you think pissed on his shit ?

Are you eating them, or its to get high?

>How much time do you typically spend to get a decent amount?
2-3 hours.

Jokes on you I own 0.9 square kilometre of woods and it's muh private property.

>How many dogs do you think pissed on his shit ?

It doesn't matter, i clean them before eating. And there is no dogs in the woods, more like wolves.

>Jokes on you I own 0.9 square kilometre of woods and it's muh private property.

Some parts of the woods can be private when they are a part of agriculture terrain. But woods generally can't be private at all.

I grow no crops. It used to be a field like 70 years ago. But now it's a propa forest.

>more like wolves.

Beautiful creatures. It sucks to be an outsider in a wolf pack.

youtube.com/watch?v=yRsV9MQ16gI

just a try our banter, 10/10 got accepted into the pack

>tfw living in t*cson ar*zona and can't go on comfy mushrooms hunts

grow them in your house

I actually am doing that, but its just not the same as hunting for them. Oh well, better than nothing

Damn that brings me back. I grew way up North and taiga always gave us lots of mushrooms at the end of the summer. Fry them with potatoes and dill, fucking seasonal delicacy.
Such kind is not sold in shops and I've never eaten anything even remotely as good as this in other parts of Russia or EU countries I've visited.

>you can use them for your individual usage as much as you want, as long as you don't make business out of it
What? You mean it's illegal to collect mushrooms in other countries?

>one doesn't need to pay for entrance the woods like in other European countries
What the hell, are you memeing or is this actually a thing?

take a trip to Alaska and go for some :)
