We don't have a lot of cash, but my son, wife and I are all into Chainlink. Also have 2 friends I told who I also advised to do their own research and they both hold pretty big stacks. Nobody is upset about the project, we are just hodling and waiting for main net and eventual adoption. We are all realistic, hoping one day for 50$ to 100$ Link. I am very comfy.

Don't buy them expensive stuff but do take them out to lunch. Picking up the check is pretty standard rich guy protocol.

I don't really believe in friends, but there's one guy I trust so I told him. His wife spends all their money before he has a chance though, so he didn't buy in.

I did it by explaining what it is, and what they're trying to achieve. I explained that it could fail, but that it's also a brilliant idea if executed properly. I shared some Links and told them all that I wasn't telling them to invest, but that I would help them if they decided to.
