Are the Zetas still around? Haven't heard from them in a while

Not really, dead gang.
Jalisco New Gen and Cartel de Sinaloa are the latest hot shit.

Who?

What are the chances I get killed in Colima? Also, have you guys visited it? Stay safe and comfy

58 in 100,000 chance.
Also no. I wouldn't travel there. There's nothing to see or do there.

why is california so violent? i thought the closest areas to the us border should be the safest, just because you know, proximity.

No sweety actually the areas near the US are absolute shitholes

>58 in 100,000 chance.
probably not that simple. compare a young male involved with gangs vs some abuelita in a village

99.9%

Tijuana is the shithole with violence and murders.
Mexicali is chill and safe.

There's nothing to do in Colima, it has 700k people total, both "nevado de colima and volcan de coloma" are on Jalisco's side. Michoacán, Jalisco, Nayarit and Oaxaca have better beaches in the Pacific, their biggest city has 200k people, etc. The Revillagigedo Islands are nice, I guess, but kinda far from the mainland.
>thought the closest areas to the us border should be the safest, just because you know, proximity.
They are usually pretty dangerous, precisely because, you know, proximity to the biggest drug market.

Manzanillo is OK

>Manzanillo is OK
It has like a murder rate of 100+

Yeah, like 2 people every other month.

South?

What's going on in Quintana Roo?

Tourists asking for drugs.

Fair enough. Still quite impressed to see the gap between that state and its neighbours.

Probably gangs fighting over tourism business.
Tourists don't really get attacked, violence is almost always within gangs/cartels.

Cancun receives a lot more tourists than the others in a largely partying environment. Plus, the types of tourists Cancun gets are your springbreak type, while Yucatán gets boomers looking for ruins.

It's very dangerous I got killed twice in the last month

We don't migrate south desu

Gee maybe the proximity to certain country is a factor

they are trying to reunite its parts, but lots of infighting

caballeros templarios are still around, they just dont die, just become small

>AND south

Why the fuck would you colour the map like this

Central America is even worse

I received the same critique, so that's why now it's like the OP

Zona Norte is actually very safe, as the main business depends of gringos handing over their cash to whores. I've seen asian manlets travel to the brothels with no problems. But even a few blocks away, it is fucked up. Bogota is unironically safer, there even is a Google office there.

hehe
