No. Its just more Goku wank, without justification or struggle. From landing on Earth to the defeat of Buu, Goku at least had to fucking try, and relied on his friends and allies heavily, and received many great boons for being a good guy.

Dragonball Super is Goku as Toriyama claimed he was but completely failed to write, as the anti fans claimed it was but it never was, as a retard who likes fighting and thats it. And power ratings that are near meaningless, with arbitrary and random power ups as the plot requires, and a poorly written story, with neat concepts, that drags ass.

Its a more brutal parody that team fourstar....who really fucking suck ass now.

This. This bit is the worst. With all the advances in technology, it should be quite easy to develop techniques that all around improve the animation while keeping costs controlled. But nope, its just suffering.

Dragon Ball Z and GT were originally broadcasted in prime time in Japan

It was in a very different class and different budget

It could have been better. And while a few instances of silliness occurs regarding main characters wanting a good fight, its not too bad. The main thing that brings GT down isnt from GT itself, but leftover baggage from the end of Z, where Goku is resurrected another time to be the hero. Without that, and maybe it could have been Teenage Trunks and Goten going off on a wild adventure with Pan tagging along.

But all things considered....its a neat interstellar adventure that temporarily recaptures the feel and importance of hunting for dragonballs in strange and foreign lands.

Not a legitimate excuse. Dragonball is a ridiculous cash cow franchise. Spend the damned money on it.

The manga scene in sweden has always been very, uh, passionate about their work. Sometimes liberties are taken and honestly some works are better for it, like Tenchi Muyo and what I've read of One Piece makes it look pretty sweet too.
