Trying to preemptively administer shit is how you end up with byzantine bureaucracies and OODA loops spanning years. Just come up with regulation when you need it, if you need it. People acting in their own self interest without having to conform to a massive central plan will move to meet demand much faster and much more efficiently than some centralized governing body

A couple weeks ago we had an American posting as a Latvian and I suspected him of being that guy. Then he started a new thread to bitch about me calling him out and complain about communism for no obvious reason some more, which really makes me think he's American.

See, you've just stuck to believing in an existing formal solution over meeting the problem without prejudice. How would a market economy dominated by cooperatives be any different from what we have now, besides requiring clever businessmen jump through extra hoops to disguise their ownership methods? If anything it would just end up favouring clever legalistic maneuvering over honest business practices - because the people who actually go out and make shit happen will never want to share it all with the 95% who just sit on their ass and won't do anything without orders.

Any economic structure enforcing equitable distributions of reward is doomed from the outset, because some people's time and labour are simply more valuable than others'. And if you ditch the equitable crap you essentially end up with just the good old stock options we have now.

What does communism have to do with anything at all? Canada is a mixed socialist/capitalist westminster democracy which works well for us. I have no fucking idea what you are talking about. I'm still not entirely convinced you aren't that yank but since a Latvian vouched for you I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. The communist party of Canada has 0 seats in any provincial, territorial or federal legislature and has only gotten a vote of 1% or more twice, the last being 65 years ago, they have only ever had 1 seat in parliament and it was 73 years ago. Communism is not only unpopular in Canada, it basically just doesn't exist as a political ideology.
