I don't understand how it happened geographically, but visiting Gotland during summer it's as if the island is magically teleported further south. Temperatures are consistently better than anywhere else in Scandinavia, there's loads of unique flora in Torsburgen to the east (been there a few times), and so on. The amount of pine trees gives the island a very pleasant smell aswell.
I know every nook and cranny of Ljugarn and Ljugarn strand. There are no beaches that good anywhere in Norway due to our geography.
10/10 summer destination would return for 20 more years
