Again. Your "logic" is incoherent nonsense which you even seem to realise when it's directed back at you. By your "logic" anything which is not 100% congruent is "subjective" and therefore every single observation relating to human nature is fradulent as there is nothing that corresponds to every single human's view.
It's shocking you don't even seem to be aware of what you are actually arguing for.

right its really quite simple but you have to leave the house first

you've already failed

>and therefore every single observation relating to human nature is fradulent as there is nothing corresponds to every single human's view.
not saying it's fraudulent, just saying it's not objective because it's based on people's opinions
do you have brain damage by any chance?

Therefore nothing about human nature is objective and every study or moment spent investigating human nature is inherently fraudulent as there is nothing which is 100% congruent. In other words you have the least interesting and least productive veiw of human nature imaginable and one that is counter to more or less every great thinker in history. But if that is your position on the world then so be it.

>there's some factors that can predict beauty therefore it's not based on their opinions!!

>he finds the first month of computer science difficult
How? I did a philosophy degree and I took computer science modules as electives, because I thought I better learn something that would actually get me a job. I found first year computer science really easy. I even got 98% in one module. Not even joking.

>switching to geography or history
As someone who did a humanities degree, I would really advise against doing a humanities degree. I managed to get a job as a web developer after uni, but only because I had the experience I just talked about, of the CS modules at university. The degree in philosophy didn't give me any knowledge for that job at all.

Do you have a plan of what job you would get with a history or geography degree?

Realistically you only have one shot at doing a Bachelors, because the government will only give you funding for one Bachelors. But I'm pretty sure what you can do (because I think my brother did it) is if you drop out of your course in the first year (like you say you're planning to do with CS), they will still give you a full loan for a three year degree, if you were to start again. So basically they give you up to four years of loan money, I think.

What this means is you could start again doing a degree which is very useful - something in STEM, I would recommend, because STEM degrees are incredibly valuable and get you a job. I seriously regret doing a humanities degree. Sure it was interesting I guess, but it was a complete waste of time and money. I had one shot to do a degree, and I chose a useless fucking subject. I wish I had done a STEM degree. Physics or something (although I would have needed the right A Levels, which I didn't have). The thing about humanities degrees is that most of the jobs you get with them don't actually need a degree. Making the degree a complete waste of time and money.

>Therefore nothing about human nature is objective and every study or moment spent investigating human nature is inherently fraudulent as there is nothing which is 100% congruent
haven't seen a non sequitur argument as bad as this on the internet lmao
somehow studies based on people's opinions are fraudulent by defualt lmao

dude it's your fucking argument? what the fuck lol. You are arguing, and I quote:
>just saying it's not objective because it's based on people's opinions
There is absolutely nothing in the world or in human nature which is not "based on people's opinions" by your logic.

nah, it's because objectively his time was better than the other contestants
this is really how sad your argument has gotten? might shoot off as it's clear I'm right at this point

Thank you for helping lad but I'm not good at any other STEM subjects. If I request to switch now I might be able to move immediately and not waste a year, which might be good in terms of the loan

I was reading this article earlier today as it happens, about different university "majors" as they of course call them in the US: fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-economic-guide-to-picking-a-college-major/

Look at pic related which is from that article. Shows the top and the bottom earning university "majors". As you can see, the top ones are either engineering, science, or business (becoming an accountant I reckon is a good option, it pays well).

At the bottom of the article there is a more extensive list which features every "major". Geography is at almost exactly the half-way point, which I guess isn't too bad actually. History is in the bottom half, about 2/3 to 3/4 of the way down.

Dunno it's just something to consider.

Do you know what job you might try and get with a geography or history degree?

LMAO my argument is that studies based on opinions are fraudulent? I only recall you saying that, retard boy
any observations based off of purely facts, such as time in a race, are objective.

is not objective

Just a summary for all those poor folks joining us (green text vs normal text for the logic of the argument):
>Beauty is 100% subjective
Beauty is not 100% subjective because there are universal standards of beauty (such as the golden ratio)
>Actually the golden ratio is subjective because you decide whether you think it is beautiful or not.
Here is a study that demonstrates that people have inherent preferences towards certain aesthetic attributes such as symmetry
>Actually, those are opinions because some people don't like symmetry.
Ok. That is illogical as it means that anything which not every single human on the planet agree's with is therefore an "opinion" as there is no such thing as complete universality.

There u have it ladies and gentlemen the two arguments.

I've narrowed it down and I'm just going to stick with geography
All the careers right now are in GIS which ironically requires a bit of coding knowledge, although I can't find much info for GIS relating to the UK

I wouldn't say the degree is useless even if you go into an unrelated job as you have something decent on your CV

I really don't know how to get into an unrelated field though

saying 6 seconds is slower than 7 seconds isn't an opinion, it's just factually incorrect
saying that you don't find muscular guys attractive or symmetrical faces is an opinion and isn't a fact based statement

my work is done here, I'm clearly right. shall be shooting off now

english have ale

I guess they're trained in all the aspects of drilling for oil. Probably learning how to survey a site for oil drilling, analysing whether it's suitable for commercial drilling, all those aspects of it, etc.

In the article though it says that petroleum engineers might not always earn as much as they do in that list because the oil market is volatile. I would assume that's because it's affected by other countries happening to come across large oil wells and therefore driving the price of oil down.

neoliberal scum but this is a funny video

Thank you for the list of evil pigs in video games

The actual drillers are paid well I know that because it's a dangerous job and they can die. Watched some drilling accident videos on YouTube and it doesn't look like a pleasant death either.
But yeah just wondering if it covers both the surveying aspects of it, etc, or just the actual drillers doing the hard labour
