I drink too much soda and it's damaging my teeth
Help!

so stop drinking it

Nonsense. It's just a tasty drink. Keep chugging.

Insert a feeding tube and drink it like that so it doesn't damage your teeth.

terrible advice, soft drinks are just empty kilojoules/calories. there's no nutritional value, and a fuck load of sugar and carbs. if you keep drinking them, you're risking becoming obese, diabetic, and developing mood and sleep disorders from general poor health.

This man is on 2040

But they help me calm down when i am stressed or worked up!
Water doesn't have the same refreshing taste and feeling and i can't think of other alternatives

Import more nourishing stuff so you won't have the urge. Or emigrate.

Coffee

>But they help me calm down when i am stressed or worked up!
that's because you're addicted to the sugar content. i would seriously suggest stop drinking them cold turkey, don't even replace it with iced tea or anything because that shit can be just as bad.

wtf why didn't i think of that? I will try and see if it works
I know, that's why I want to stop but it's really hard once you get used to it!

>but it's really hard once you get used to it!
classic addiction. quitting sugar altogether is definitely a mission but you can easily get rid of the major culprits like soft drink, lollies/candy etc

I have a hard time getting used to the horrible taste but i will try to drink more and see if it helps
Thanks for the suggestion!

Always carry a bottom of cold water on you, drink it quickly whenever you crave soda

>a bottom of cold

Lol I didn’t realize I typed that

Shit is disgusting. How do you enjoy it?

Try alternatives such as relaxing linden tea infusions. If you can't quit drinking soda or soft drinks, brush your teeth after drinking, or drink sugar free versions.

Fucked UP teeth are aesthetic as fuck.

T. Daily coffee and cigarette consumer

same bro,
im on diet now

Just drink it through a straw

Doesn't Americans enjoy soda? i thought you had an obesity problem over there?
I rarely brush my teeth anymore, i should do that more often, but laziness is a fucking problem
I need to pull myself together or else everything will just get more worse.
We do have sugar free Soda, Cola Zero and Cola Light and tea
We have many variants of flavour to choose from

ironically, you're lazy because of the excessive sugar and carbs that you consume

I’m American and I’ve never tried soda (besides sprite once on accident) in my life. What’s it taste like?

Just as bad for teeth

>american
>never tired soda
i smell a proxy!

this. i thought they brushed their teeth with soft drink

I drink a fairly large amount of soda too but it's usually diet so meh. Just brush your teeth every night and you should be fine

we bathe in it my dude

I'm going cold turkey lads. Went for medical yesterday and the blood sugar was off the charts. Welp. Having withdrawal syndrome now but hopefully will go away in a few days.

If that thing bathes it has to be in the pool

It's heavenly refreshing and tasty af, but it can quickly get boring and stale once you begin to drink them every 2 or 3 days, (same with everything else i suppose)
At least coffee doesn't have much,if any at all, acid that makes your teeth smaller

>I rarely brush my teeth anymore, i should do that more often.

If you can't stop drinking soda, I would just get an electrical tooth brush and brush at least two times a day but preferably three if you can. The residual build up of sugar on your teeth causes reactions that will hurt your tooth enamel, but it can be combated with high efficiency with good brushing daily. Preferably you would brush as soon as possible after you drink if you can, but three times a day if you have high sugar intake would be very effective.

t. dentist

Is flossing really necessary? American dentists push it but I heard it's rare in Europe and not even recommend there.

Just tried drinking with a medium straw, i think it's more effective with a smaller one

It's effectiveness depends on your teeth, things getting stuck between your teeth over long time creates a greater area of plague build-up that can form cavities. Brushing typically can't get rid of all food residuals that get stuck, but again not everyone will have this problem.

I recommend brushing for everyone, the people who come in who never have any problems are people who follow a simply routine of brushing twice a day and flossing. Get some of these bad boys and get ready for some flossing!

Dentist?
Tell me why my tooth hurts, I got a crown last week, after having a root canal. And now the tooth where i got the crown is hurting like hell.

*I recommend flossing for everyone

Only low iq people are soda sippers.

I see. I rarely get cavities but when I go in for my cleanings they seem to go gap by gap and drill out the plaque which is bothersome.

Could be a failing root canal or just inflammation. Did you have pain after the root canal or just after the crown?

Yeah, flossing will help with that but typically a dentist will do this as you cannot prevent all of it from building up by yourself.

For me it's Coke Zero.

The pain just started yesterday, i've had limited pain since my root canal, but the dentist said that was probably from tooth grinding.

I'm going to the dentist tomorrow anyways, but if it is a failing root canal does that require an extraction? :(

I was drinking it 10 years but teeth started to decay. Acid + sugar. Also, when you drink it, you want more and more and still thirsty

Whole nerve will be extracted. But it's not painful.

Do what my dentist told me
Drink soda without having it touch your teeth
Or if it touches your teeth, then brush them

Try drinking sparkling water. For me I realized I drank soda for the carbonation and sparkling water has the same but without the sugar and stuff that comes in sodas.

just stop

What's there to worked up about in your meme country?

>dentist recommending you brush your teeth
wow! Really earned that degree.

if i stop drinking soda (I drink 2L+ a day) and perhaps cut bsck carbd will i stop being so lazy ? sounds like bro science to me.

The fact that i was born here.

I chainsmoke and drink tea every time I smoke, my teeth are very yellow and one of frontal teeth chipped a bit two years ago
think I could pass for a local in UK?

people here have good teeth usually but i also chain smoke and drank 5 cans of cola a day as a kid and have 7 fillings and 2 missing teeth at the back. sucks

>and have 7 fillings
You're like a little baby. 7 fillings is my average visit to the dentist.

Nothing wrong with drinking diet drinks. No calores, no sugar.

Always remember that the "aspartame causes cancer" bullshit is a psyop by crooked Big Sugar. They are desperate.

I just finally got my dew mouth fixed after nearly 10 appointments to the dentist. I tried to drink soda the other day but felt disgusted after I took a sip. I threw it away and immediately brushed and rinsed.

I am never drinking soda again except maybe the occasional root beer.

i only drink water and must
