I go to Germany, people think I'm German until I speak. I go to England, people think I'm English until I speak. I go to France, people think I'm French until I speak. And so on.

Pretty simple, if you can fit into Western Europe without being seen as a foreigner by looks alone, you are white.

I go to Greece and everyone instantly knows I'm foreign because of my looks, that's how you know Greeks are not white.

No way Greece is like that. Even in Portugal Nords can pass as locals if they speak perfect Portuguese (I'm half Swede and look more "stereotypical" Nord than med).

Why is Greece different?

I've been to all the Southern European countries, the majority of the people are not what you would think of when you think of 'white people'. That goes for Portugal, Italy, Spain and particularly Greece that look like Western part of Turkey. The average person in these countries would not pass as a local here, the average German or Brit would.

IDK maybe for being born here but I always thought the majority of Southern Euros white, like 85%+ of them. Even if I look more "Nord" I always though the Med looking ones as white as me. IDK, you guys might have different standards.
