For real though our Naval Blockade was huge. Americans were nicknamed "doughboys" for whatever reason. We sent over 2,000,000 troops to France alone. 4,355,000 in total. 355,000 casualties.

Both sides were tired as fuck and just sick of it all. When the US entered full tilt to help the Allies it was a deep, lovely, breath of fresh air. Beforehand it was a bit at a standstill, but with us, the future looked good.

Woodrow Wilson (president at that time) declared his famous 14 points, which publicly announced what the US was going to do, during the war, and after it. The most famous was creating the League of Nations. Now here's where it gets funny, Wilson tried desperately to have Europe recover from the war quickly - ALL of Europe. And just as Britain and France used all of their powers to get the US out of isolationism and into WWI, France and Britain vehemently refused Wilson's stratagem to recover all of Europe, and forced harsh punishments on Germany.

And we all know how that ended up.

Some hypothesis say it came from china. You're pivoting quite a bit for some reason. Could the flu be spread to europe from the US? Sure it's possible. Western europe was in the middle of a war with biological hazards everywhere. No wonder it spread quickly and killed more.
