Couple of his comics got spammed around, they were good. People went searching for more. The man is legit good.

It's legit horrifying except for the slug chapter which imo broke the surreal templet of the rest of the book. I loved the lovecraftian ending though.

His work is pretty great and really uses the medium well. I don't think his stories could be adapted to film or even animation because of the surrealness. Hanging balloons is a great example, how could giant floating heads lynching people work in another medium and still come across as legit horror?

I think it's pushing it a bit calling the masters of horror just because of Ito, but his work is pretty brilliant. He has a great sense of humour that you can see in lots of his work.
