I like mini bagels or slim ones but the full sized ones are too chewy, and chances are it has too much sugar like most breads here. If I'm eating candy for breakfast I would rather have cereal or pancakes/waffles.

You're supposed to eat them with cream cheese or something on them. Nobody eats plain bagels.
