Slovenia vs Czechia -- which country is more developed and wealthier?

Slovenia is out of competition, it looks like Austria in terms of infrastructure. Czechia on the other hand just like a slightly better maintained typical Eastern European country with commieblocks and simple concrete-made houses just behind the old town in every city.

Slovenia feels a lot like Austria. It's so comy that it's hard to believe this is actually a Slavic country. Leaving the Warsaw pact was a more than wise decision.

what about other ex-Yugo countries though

Czechia has better economy, though wages and welfare are higher in Slovenia, we are more socialist than Czechia, which is more neoliberal capitalistic oriented country (better for business, worse for living).

>what about other ex-Yugo countries though
They weren't under Austria for a millenia, therefore their historical wealth is lower. They were also devastated by balkan wars and have different mentality than we do.

I never visited other ex-yugo countries, but i heard of good experiences in Croatia. Everybody went to the western part, where you find e.g. the sea, Split and Plitvice. Serbia, as of what i heard is still sort of messed up. I can't say anything about Montenegro, FYROM and Bosnia. Then, there is also Kosovo, but literally nobody wants to go there.

All Yugo countries look way better than any Warsaw Pact one even though things are not as well maintained there as they used to be in Yugoslavia. Still their commieblocks and houses are made of better quality materials than ours and look more like in Italy than in Russia. Croatia has highways across all of the country while not a single Warsaw Pact state has it like that etc.

Yugoslavia was a completely different world than Warsaw Pact and we'll never catch up with them in terms of infrastructure unless we demolish all commieblocks and shitty houses.

I wish we'd had such a choice. Staying away from Russia is always beneficial per se.

USA

Czechia has big companies, industry and stuff but the highways are shit and also huge commieblocks so I have to say Slovenia.

I pity Slovenes when they're lumped together with the Balkans or Eastern Europe while their country is so western.

Meanwhile I don't really understand why so many people count Czechia as western Europe opposite to other V4 countries even though Czechia looks pretty much the same.

Slovenia has like $500 higher gross wages which means more wealth

In slovenia the rural regions are 1st world too, it's not just centralized in one cunt. Drop a pin on street view anwhere in slovenia and it will be like switzerland

Who cares, they're both basically perfection

Czechia isn't much better than Lithuania. Its westernity is mostly a meme.

don't praise slovenia too much...

Its just lack of maintenance in this very particular place. Austria has quite a lot of them as well (I was surprised how many of them after Austria was already partially shown on street view). When you renovate the building it will be like Germany.

Meanwhile, any WP country would probably have an ugly rectangular-shaped concrete block there.

Is this picture representative for rural FYROM?

Literally written in Greek, so it's not here

>Its just lack of maintenance in this very particular place.
That is usually the result of ownership disputes, which can be attributed to our communistic past.

Slovenia.

>Czechia isn't much better than Lithuania.
This, however, is bulshit.

shame about the name. To westerners it sounds like a generic east euro cunt.

>Kranjska
>Krain
>Carniola
they're all better and more distinguishable names

>This, however, is bulshit.

Nope, it's not. Czechia is still a typical Eastern European country with slightly better maintenance.

They are both in Europe
