The Black Friday Festival with a fairly large scale is held under the influence of US forces in Korea. I've been to store for the day only once, but I don’t enjoy it anymore because I was very tired of too many other customers at the time.

It's not really as insane as it is in America, though. The discounts are pretty small, and rather than people racing to stores to get good deals they're just like "let's see if I can get a new TV."
Basically, it's like other foreign inventions that stores are now half-assedly trying to push to sell more shit, kinda like Halloween.
