Groningen was ravaged too but you don’t hear anyone about it.
>celebrating the end of the boer war
If you consider its strategic position near the German border it's a miracle that most of it has survived.
Whats happening here
Which town is that?
dedovshchina is about to begin
It was completely irrelevant in military terms. All the sustained damage was the result of Canadian imbeciles in the last week of the war, when the Americans were halfway through Germany, deciding to duck it out with the Germans right at the main square
Toronto.
That flat iron building is still there.
Ljubljana was pretty modern back in the 60'
The construction of once tallest building in the Balkans, 1932.
They should really restore the street pattern, that wouldn't be that difficult I guess.
The construction of canal that goes through Ljubljana
Probably either Moscow in 1991 or 1993 if I had to guess.

Cool. Thanks.
Found this on google just now. I live in a "city" of 50k
these palaces once belonged to the Habsburg princessess, now the one on the right is a five star hotel, and the one on the left is currently being turned into one as well
this church is now surrounded by nothing but commie blocks erected during the 1980s

Did those princesses actually live there or was it just owned by them?

I hope one day there will be justice and the nation who is responsible for wiping out our capital will pay for its crimes.
Zürich around 1901
Bern around 1900
how does it feel to not have suffered any kind of conflict since centuries, living amongst pure lakes, forest and mountains in little, comfy towns of chocolate and weapons craftstmen?
Tried to look for the oldest photos I could of my city and it looks exactly the same
Honestly it feels really like a privilege. I immediately notice the difference when I leave Switzerland. I really appreciate that fact. There are people here who think our country is boring because it has no huge conflicts, wars or revolutions that have taken place. But I am very glad that it is that way, would never want to change.
I expected no different response, and I can only feel envy. You have a great ladn user, enjoy it until your last breath.
Old Oslo, you can see the royal palace in the background.
Same place 100 years later
It feels good. Hope other countries will realize that war is pointless.

Basel around 1920

More than half of these lands were conquered by your bloodthirsty barbarian ancestors. You can post as many maps of the old german empire as you want and clam it used to be yours but the truth is that all land way to east germany was stolen in a bloody conquest. Your nation is barbaric, you are no different than negroes who fight endlessly in Africa between each other. I really enjoy watching your population getting blacked/browned. My grandchildren will never have to deal with your kin.
The people who are responsible for this are dead. Modern Germans have as much to do with this as with the crusades. And for. fucks. sake. would you please stop acting as if migration was white genocide. It's not like there's anything wrong about racemixing.
Haha just threw some shrimp on a barbie
Gdynia's Kosciuszki Square back in the interwar period.
Eastern Orthodox church in the main square of my hometown, early 1920's. It was built in 1901 to suck up to the Russian tzar, and subsequently demolished in 1925 to show Russia the middle finger. Not that the Soviets would care, but hey.
>It's not like there's anything wrong about racemixing.
There is when it's encouraged by the state and migration is above the replacement levels of the native population.
>encouraged by the state
Dude what?
Pretty sure Switzerland valleys will be white even in 100 years. Most of the people there barely know what a nigger is lmao
