Pic related, they announced a new product. Got no clue what that is all about - anyone care to make an educated guess?
Btw, those guys put alot of work into this to help the CL network grow. Go ahead and put some ETH (min 0.2) into their crowdsale - doing so will give you the right to stake from day 1 (and also get a part of the staking rewards from all running nodes). linkpool.io/crowdsale.html
anyway a cucked US citizen can participate in crowdsale?
Daniel Phillips
I'll probably throw in 0.5 eth. It's risky though
Carson Hernandez
Linkies are so desperate they're buying into hype of an ancillary product to their ancillary product of their blockchain middleware product.
the absolute fucking state
Owen James
Wow, this looks really nice. Good job Jonny and Matt.
Carter Taylor
>We’re also pleased to be to announce that we’re going to offering a new product under the LinkPool brand. This product will be an alternative to staking, a product that we think will be of incredible benefit to the ChainLink network and further reward our crowdsale contributors. Keep an eye out over the next few weeks for a future article which details this product. To give a teaser, it involves the ChainLink node operator GUI
Landon Walker
Hi Jonny
Gavin Edwards
Cmon hire a webdesigner, it looks like my 2yo boy enjoying wp.
Juan Murphy
>A whole 25%
Michael Miller
get out of here kid fucker
Bentley Lewis
How much will you get for 0.2 eth?
Kevin Jackson
And you’re so pathetic that you’re on the sidelines feeling obliged to comment on it despite having no participation. So who is really worse off?
Camden Baker
is that new product a computing platform like iExec or Golem? Because it sure looks like it. And if it is then its happening tonight.
David Morris
It's not a tokenised asset. You get 0.02% of the public part of all LinkPools profits forever.
Thomas Walker
0.2 ETH will give you 0.00125% of everything Linkpool will ever earn from all nodes. Looks like a small percentage, but they will have millions of yearly staking rewards once Chainlink mainnet is live.
Wyatt Morris
How do you buy in as a burger?
Joseph Green
i too am burgercucked
Thomas Sanchez
How extensive is the KYC? Plenty of fake passports on Alvarado here in L.A.
Oliver Thompson
Looks good, Jonny. Thanks for keeping us updated!
You have an opinion on where there are so few data requesting transactions on ropsten? Cheers
Benjamin Russell
Has to be devidable by 0.2.
Cameron Jenkins
What's this new product? The design looks the same as the faucet page.
Carter Gomez
>Keep an eye out over the next few weeks for a future article which details this product. To give a teaser, it involves the ChainLink node operator GUI: Read the article bro
Aaron Miller
If I can make profits off my link directly, why would I give my money to a company that gives me a tiny cut of the profits they make from staking other people’s link? Before we know how easy it will be to run a node? Anyone who falls for this deserves to lose their linkies
Michael Taylor
>Mat >Jonny Why do both of these guys have normal names but spelled in a retarded fashion?
Aiden Peterson
> an alternative to staking I'm beyond intrigued, don't make me FOMO linkies
I can buy into the crowdsale. If you can write a smartcontract to distrute your tokens to you I'll put our ETH in for free.
Tyler Richardson
Then don’t use it. No one asked for your opinion.
Carson Clark
The image is Chainlinks UI not theirs
Aaron Bailey
Someone do this for us burgers
Isaac Harris
imagine being proud of that
npm install material
wow new GUI
Blake Anderson
it is literally 500 bucks. if you cant afford to wipe your ass with 500 bucks and your life not change then you need to market sell and go call dave ramsey
Aiden Lewis
ok thanks for the financial advice grandpa.
John Baker
Sounds neat but what's preventing linkpool from running away with all of my stinkies?
Nathan Ortiz
Nothing lol. And they will pull a gox if link makes it. Suggesting running own node. Linkpool removes the "de" from decentralization
Jonathan Miller
Fuck all you faggots, link pool are a bunch of kikes
Not trying to fud but I have a serious concern with Chainlink. Chainlink has been on Ropsten for a month and everyone was expecting all these potential partners to test on the test net. The team even told people to keep an eye on Ropsten to see the customers using the network. Well for 3 weeks the only transactions on Ropsten have been regular peeps taking the 100 Ropsten link from the faucet. There has been absolutely no requests for data. In fact, someone asked Thomas why and then Thomas made a run to show it works. Well I see Thomas's request for data but it is the only one.
Why is there no testing on Ropsten? Where are all these customers/partners/devs that are supposed to be drooling at the potential of Chainlink? I know the lack of communication, lack of updates from Sergey, lack of social media presence, increasing competition from large players are all red flags but this may be the largest.
Does anyone actually want to use Chainlink Network?
Liam Thompson
Probably have to add a new product because now they realise how easy it is to run a node. Jonny is a shit cunt who acts like he's apart of chainlink, but he's just another faggot snake oil salesman. Inb4 infrastructure
Isaac Walker
They're adding a TPL protocol to stop pajeets from participating.
Carter Bailey
I have about 40k link, I assume this should be a somewhat decent amount and definitley worth staking. As a total tech brainlet, I am considering puting about 2 ETH in Linkpool, early access to staking and the longterm aspect of holding a small precentage of the fees does not look like a bad deal to me.
Charles Wood
Concerning them running away with Links: They are trying their hardest to make it possible to keep the Link in the staker's own wallet. Concerning Linkpool making Chainlink centralized: There are 1000M Link in existance, of which about 10-30M will be staked with Linkpool, so thats 1-3% of the network.
Jace Young

Lets only count the circ. Supply instead of the total. Also what will stop a company from using linkpool instead of other nodes. Reeks of monopoly and their profit taking of nodes profits are too high for me. My 50 links
Xavier Smith
We should take the total supply, because those will end up in nodes eventually (Sergey donating them to large banks and instituations). Nothing stops companies from using Linkpool, but if you have a large amount of Link the pool's 25% cut to your staking rewards makes running your own node alot more interesting. Linkpool kind of targets the pleb investor that holds like 1-20k Link.
Jaxson Green
I dont know, linkpool reeks. Btw what do you need to do to run your own node? Creating adapters to match your job request?
Liam Butler
did this queer seriously just reply to the entire thread one by one
Ryan Turner
It's a lot more work than you think. A lot of people call linkpool a scam bc of the 20% cut but in all honesty putting up 100k USD as collateral is no joke you better know how to keep your node live.
Anthony Davis
Man, by the time they get it all finished it won't be shit. There'll be a runnode.exe with a gui that'll connect to an aws instance and that'll be it. It's already easy AF to setup with the docker-compose build. The data providers will probably write their own adapters so that it's easier for people to use their shit so they can get paid. It's in Link's best interest to make it easy enough for fuckin boomers to do to increase decentralization.
Justin Evans
I remember when it went from 30% to 25%, but when did it go to 20%?
James Davis
Got 1k link, put 10eth on linkpool am I gonna make it biz?
Adrian Hill
Linkpool has never been mentioned by anyone of the chainlink team. Pretty sure this is a scam made by ((you))
Isaiah Perry
Are you retarded? Read the actual post.
Aiden Rogers
LMFAO
Gabriel Collins
This. Everyone do this
Levi Thompson
Not gonna happen. You really think ChainLink team is up for the task?? Look at nxt...
