When you have parents who love you, this is the best feeling in the world. My parents really wanted me to continue staying with them even though they knew I had to leave for future job prospects and education. It's sad that people from non-med countries will never experience true family ties.

Not when you can't find a job. Youth unemployment in the med is incredibly high. But if you do have a job then yeah there's little point in staying with your parents, they can't be with you forever anyway.
My point is that meds don't see staying with parents as a bad thing or failure, this is chiefly an american thing that has been imported to northern europe, where parent-child relations often resemble employee-employer ones.

Even if you have a job, there's little point in moving out just to spend most of your pay on rent and bills, unless you really have the necessity to stay alone. Most youngsters move out either for studying or to live with long-time girlfriends.
The thing is since you don't attach to the State's tit as soon as you detach from momma's like in the northern socialdemocracies, the Family is your welfare system and main asset, the one that'll provide you a free house in which you can build a family as well.

Thing is, jobs won't always be in the immediate vicinity of your house. Also, moving out because of a girlfriend is very common in my experience. By the time uni is done and a stable job position is found a couple years later, most people will have some kind of gf situation going on.
