I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Spanish, is in fact, Castilian Spanish, or as I've recently taken to calling it, Castellano. Spain is not a country or a language unto itself, but merely a group of Iberian tribes made useful by based Castilians, a vital group thanks to which Spain and Latin America exists.
Many Jow Forums users mistake Castillian for Spanish every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the Castilian Spanish is often called "Spanish", and many of Jow Forumsolerants are not aware that it is basically the Castellano, a language of Castille.
There really is Spanish, but Castilian is only a part of it. Castilian is different, much more sophisticated and stuff. This is essential for you to realize. Spanish often includes Castilian, but basically it's Spanish languages with Castilian added. All the so called "Spaniards" are really Castilians.
