I would die inside if they built a new stadium, I already did a bit at tje additions to Fenway. My point is that the Sox are now guilty of many of the things we criticised the Yankees for in the 20th century (high ticket prices, largest payroll, no player loyalty, buying pennants/world series).

Dude I've done 85+mph on Rt.8 and have seen state troopers blow right past me probably doing over 100, no lights or anything. They are chill as fuck. I did get pulled over in Woodbury once doing 25 over though.

The New York State troopers on the other hand are major assholes. If you're going 0.5mph over and you look at them funny you know they're gonna pull your ass over and whack you with a $300 fine and 6 points on your license.

The only thing that sucks about the CT state troopers is, well two things, all their cars are unmarked and some of the newer ones don't even have the light bars anymore. I've gotten pretty good at spotting the grey Tauruses and Crown Vics though. I think they have a few Chargers too I saw one near Torrington and one east of New London but they're pretty rare.

The other thing is they very seldom run radar and usually use laser for speed enforcement. When they do run radar it's always K-band instant-on which sucks because IO needs a sensitive detector and my 9500ix is probably not ideal for it and there's a lot of false positives on K-band due to these new fucking cars with radar lane assist stuff which is also on K-band.

NYSP is a lot easier to pick up from far away because they use Ka-band radar in constant on mode all over the place and under ideal conditions you can pick that up up to a mile out from the kill-zone.
