Dear native English speakers,
what do you think when you read grammar/spelling mistakes on Jow Forums? Do you think it's bad that not everyone knows very good English?
Do you recognize writing patterns for each country?

Native English speakers are worse at writing in English than ESL speakers
No, I don’t mind if not everyone speaks particularly good English. I admire them for speaking multiple languages, or at least making a serious attempt.
I’m sure people get annoyed when my French or Spanish is quite rubbish in parts, but I appreciate the patience
i like reading russian posts, they sound cute
not really i'm mainly just ashamed of myself for not knowing any other language
>recognize
this is not good english
what country has a good command of a broad vocabulary on Jow Forums?
Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, and Germany in that order
I don't think it's applicable by country. Nearly everyone that posts here seems to have a very good command of English.

germs and nords by far
don't know, but I know it's not the muricans.
canadians
worst: australia/new zealand
nordics and dutch
As a russian, I embrassed
The Dutch and Scandinavians, but it's a bit unfair because they're already very similar to English + they all start speaking English when they're like 4 so it's pretty much a native language to them
I've even seen people from those countries on multiple occasions saying they prefer to express themselves in English, it's weird as shit
>The Dutch and Scandinavians
Look at v4, balt, balk, asean: their English seems just as good to me.
Dutch and Finnish
huh i always thinked that germans do not have good english
>Banning word
Hahaha... not even close to what's going on.
>éblabla
This is just made up shit now.
Nobody ever tried to "ban" some words. Weekend is widely used, as well as its own french direct translation "fin de semaine", it really depends on context.
"Email" isn't banned, french people just say "mail", with a french pronunciation of the word.
It can be written "mèl" or "courrier électronique" (direct translation).
French people don't even ever use "Chat" as a word because in French this spelling means "Cat".
The Québecois invented the word "Clavardage", which is a mix of "clavier" (keyboard) and "bavardage" (to chat). Clever and neat in my opinion.
The anglo world should really realize at some point that the French don't hate them at all. Quite the opposite actually.
But it's almost impossible to explain to them that protecting your culture doesn't mean hating others' culture.
finlands speak's good English
Who do you think has the worst English on Jow Forums?
In the Netherlands we start learning English at the age of 10.
japan
But Dutch resembles English quite a bit. And we don't have dubbed television and games. So it's quite easy to pick up.
Hacкoлькo вooбщe мнoгo pyccких живёт в Кopee, кaк тaм oкaзaлcя?
German English is almost always really good. I can always tell it's German, though, I can't explain how.
I think it's good
English has such a weird position. You can make plenty of mistakes and nobody is gonna correct you but if you spoke some other language and made mistakes then natives would be correcting you all the time
And I think it's going to get even worse now YouTube exists. A niece of mine is 2 years old and can barely say any words. And she loves watching children songs on YouTube.
And many of the songs on YouTube both exist in Dutch and English. So she watches and tries to sing along with both of them.
Americans :)
based
I could already converse in English way before that.
Same.
what do you think about german english skills?
