Yeah, PRI hasn't been any kind of socialist in a very long time other than trying to keep up with the status quo of our long-time social programs, since trying to take them away would be the single most unpopular move one could make. So much so that even our objectively right-wing party, PAN, didn't dare to touch them when they got into power back in 2000 and even kind of expanded some of them, while being right wing about absolutely everything else. AMLO joined PRI right after PRI had committed 2 massacres against protestors, on the basis of extreme delusions that they were communists funded by Cuba or the USSR. AMLO didn't about any of that until PRI stole some elections and decided to deflect, "corruption" being the single most important thing for him. Since then, he has gone on and on about "corruption" non-stop and that's it.
