If you're looking for something that might actually end up just being plain better than ethereum's roadmap, #### is what you're looking for (because its basic way of functioning and its language are done in a way that can't be applied directly to ethereum, albeit some functionality can be jury rigged onto it. dyor if you're techncally minded).
It will launch already sharded and have the best benefits of both DAGs and blockchains (it is technically a sharded blockchain, however). Casper POS is actually developed in collaboration with ####'s Vlad Zamfir, and will be used in both ethereum and ####.
EOS is not an improvement. Cardano's POS is certainly not an improvement over the proposed versions of Casper, IOTA is vapourware retardation and chinkshit like vechain and tron and russian universa are just shitty delegated proof of stake chains that are so centrally delegated that they make even EOS and NEO look decentralized.

Yeah that's why I'm not in it yet. It's still not anywhere near being launched properly and mass marketed and there are multiple moonshoots out there that will go ballistic over the next 4-6 months.
