Why do Germans hate it?
It’s in the West (best part) and the south (other best part)

And yet there is no place to live.
If you think of all the negative stereotypes that there are about Germany, you will find that they apply by and large to Southern Germans (i.e. Bavaria, Swabia, Hesse, etc.). Humorless, narrow-minded, limited, passive-aggressive, over-correct,...
The people here in the north are much friendlier and more sociable, I hear that again and again from my southern German fellow students.

Very green (red)

They're the Germans of Germany.
t. studied there for a year

All Europeans are cold except italians and Iberians desu

Wut it's you Northerners who are always cold and grumpy. Prussia, the arch example of this, wasn't in the south last I checked

>humorless
Hell no, Northerners just don't understand the concept of subtle humor. I think people in the South are far more funny.
>narrow minded
Yes, a bit
>limited
What's that supposed to mean?
>passive aggressive
Yes
>over correct
I agree 100%
>The people here in the north are much friendlier and more sociable
That's a blatant lie and you know it

t. Southerner studying in the North

Mountains do weird shit to people. It's very rich with beautiful towns but people are odd. Grünen rule the state.

Baden is great, Schwaben is shit

>rolling hills are mountains for the Dutchman

Some of the people in the southwest are really weird. Also economic strength, low unemployment, wealth. What this also means is high rates of immigration.

Don’t to forget, they build the best Cars in Southern Germany.

Tbh I live next to Niedersachsen and the amount of mutts from Germany I encounter every saturday is astonishing.

true

>That's a blatant lie and you know it
No, it's not a lie. I don't know where you are studying but probably in a major town like Hamburg or Hannover. If you go to the countryside, meet people, maybe even live there you'll quickly realize the difference between Southerners and Northerners.

I imagine cold grumpy Englishmen sipping on their afternoon tea

Real talk: Southerners are more fake-friendly like Americans. In the south when someone's friendly you never know if they actually mean it. In secret a ton of them are stuck up and bitter a lot. Northerners meanwhile don't fake friendliness and seem colder in comparison but are more easy going in general. Basically in the north 50% of people are friendly, and in the south 70% seem friendly, but only 30% really are, and the other 40% only act the part.

I've been to baden baden. You just walk around so you can /comfy/. The forest is cool too. Every time I open the window I would see this church. Great view. The bells were ringing every 1 hour.

Fair enough, I haven't seen the countryside yet and probably has a good point. I tend to do a fair amount of dumb stuff and people in the North are far more quick to call me out for my shit.

We have a Bavarian/Jewish comedian in Finland called Roman Shatz who says northern Germans are the bad Germans and southern ones are good

>Mountains
Lol, only the very southern part of Bavaria has mountains, the rest is flatland

>the only white parts are the slavic ones
epic

(((Schatz))) means treasure

>the rest is flatland
