Do you live near a volcano?

another angle
volcanoes are fucking insane
I kind of live by one.
It's called Dotsero, by definition its still active, but it won't erupt again.
>tfw there are no active volcanoes on the East Coast
I remember when St. Helens erupted, it was midday and all of a sudden it was dark outside. All of the street lights came on, and everybody thought that it was snowing.
Yes I live near this monster which is doomed to blow up the same way that Mt. St Helens did
>tfw if Yellowstone blows we only get 1 - 2 inches of ash and have to keep suffering with life
It’s not fair.
I've been to St. Helens before, it's pretty cool
desu 1-2 is more than enough to kill you
it'll fuck your shit still, especially after it rains.
No it's not, the worse it can do is destroy your car and fuck up your lungs if you don't wear a mask.
Nigger if it fucks up your lungs what do you think is going to happen?
The primary cause of death from volcanoes is volcanic ash inhalation, and 1 - 2 inches over an area of tens of thousands of miles can easily kill millions, if not tens of millions, of people.
Do you not know that the pacific Northwest was covered in inches to a couple feet of Ash in the 80s?
No, I actually didn't. Excuse my ignorance
yes, but it's supposedly dead since 4 million years ago
Yeah it was pretty fucking bad but that shit won't kill you unless you try to breathe it in on purpose.
t. lived through it
did anyone stuck out their tongue and "eat the snow"? ahaha
Is 26km close?
how big is the volcano? and what type is it?
yeah i guess
btw what news are of the Popopcatepl or however its spelled?
Yellowstone might cause mass extinction, including with humans.
Harvests will fail due to the blocked sun, breathing will be hard due to pollution, global climate will change etc.
Well it was May so everybody was caught by surprise. I was working at a car wash and I remember this old guy who was pissed because he just paid for wash+wax.
I pray that this thing doesn't explode in my lifetime

It snowed hard on it dunno anything else
en.m.wikipedia.org
Oops that's the correct one
Also it's not on Colima it's on Jalisco!
Yes, several, but they're inactive.
>Harvests will fail due to the blocked sun, breathing will be hard due to pollution, global climate will change etc.
yeah but for how many years? it will depend on how hard it blows up, Krakatoa did the say you're saying but we're all still alive (climate change lasted for like 5 years on the Northern Hemisphere)
Krakatoa is much smaller.
I once lived near a mountain that erupted on ash Wednesday
I don't live too far from the Puys, pic related
But they're not very threatening, they're smooth and green dormant volcanoes
I did until this summer
I'd move 100 km away of that thing, mnimum.
It's long dead

I flew there once, it's amazing how far above the cloud layer that thing rises, and it's not even the only mountain volcano you can see from that altitude that does.
Quit a bunch of them could potientially erupt, though the chances decrease with time.
I live on top a dormant volcano and around more than 20 active volcanoes.
when the time comes do you think you'll fly so good?
No problem I know where to seek refuge.
Yes
It was 1-3mm. That's the thickness of 3-5 pieces of paper or something like that
