Just because it works for us here in the West, doesn't mean it's necessarily suited for people in other parts of the world. The Chinese and Arabs for example, have vastly different societies than ours and history has shown that they function far more successfully under the rule of an iron thumb. I would never wish to impose our way of doing things, on them. Much of the problems of the past century, are a direct result of the major Western powers trying to do exactly that. We need to stop trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

Both systems have their pros and cons. Having a monarchy brings stability. Being a republic allows you to be more free in your decision making. Because there is no guy with a vested interest in stability at the rear.
