I understood you, but this is getting a bit advanced for me so I'll answer in English.
The Folklore course is a proseminar, so I only need to write a 10 page assignment in the end, not a full thesis. I'm currently planning on doing it about お守り and good luck rituals. I originally wanted to do a sort of comparative study researching the local traditions of Kamakura when it was still a sparsely populated era, and seeing how much it influnced the traditions of Tokogawa era Edo, and how much it was influenced by the outsiders who immigrated to it. The teacher said it was too big of a subject, and that it would be hard to find research material in English.
The anime history course is just a little elective course that doesn't even have a test in the end. A senpai told me than they watch the entire first episode of Eva in one of the first lessons.
>I only need to write a 10 page assignment in the end
sounds fucking ginormous my friend tho
>Kamakura when it was still a sparsely populated era, and seeing how much it influnced the traditions of Tokogawa era Edo, and how much it was influenced by the outsiders who immigrated to it.
quite interesting perspective desu, I'm not really sure about the influx of Kamakura on the Tokugawa Shogunate, but seems a lot to be found out.
Kamakura was our school trip destination as my house is in Tokyo. pretty aesthetic town, with a tint of Showa period vibe. I've been there once by bicycle, it's way more pleasant to go around the town by bicycle than on foot. it's a bit off the table, tho.
>The teacher said it was too big of a subject
lel this advice can be seen regardless of countries
>A senpai told me than they watch the entire first episode of Eva in one of the first lessons
俺だったら 絶対授業中寝るわ。
正直、シンジくんとカヲルくんの絡み合いは、庵野さんにはホモっ気があるのかなぁ、と思わせる。pic related. ノーホモ。

>I'm not really sure about the influx of Kamakura on the Tokugawa Shogunate
I think I wasn't clear. I meant comparing ancient Edo/the Kamakura area to Edo as a big urban center during the shogunate era. Most of the seminar is about studying the traditions of tiny villages in the countryside that weren't influenced by the mainstream orthodoxy, but I think the local traditions of urban centers are much more interesting.
