how the fuck do you deal with the no sunlight thing
it's a bitch even in Germany sometimes

based pic btw

North or South?
Haparanda here.
Northern Swede here, we are used to it.
But people light candles, have bonfires, eat healthy food and keep moving. It does wonder for light deprivation.

>Northern Swede here, we are used to it.
aka "the people who couldn't adapt killed themselves"
not that there's anything wrong with that

Pretty much yeah haha.
But I do see the problem new people face when they move here. The constant darkness can drive some people absolutely insane.

A few years ago during the midwinter solstice festival (it's a small pagan larp thing) a tourist nearly froze to death. I guess the big roaring fires, loud drums and screaming people mixed with no sun for a week messed her mind up.
She sat down in the snow and didn't get up until someone found her an hour later.
She had to be hospitalized.

>Mfw havent seen sun in 10 days now

Comfy, the polar night reaches us soon. Already only a few, short hours of "daylight" now.

>Hanoi Rocks

BASED AS FUCK!

Autumn is in September here. Winter starts in October.

This is the real boomer music in Finland.

I shitpost on Jow Forums and /his/ and eat my vitamin D, d like benis :D

It was still 20° a mere few days ago, sounds like October to me.
Does that means you have early summers as well ? Like latte march or so ?

It's really damn good though, boomer or not.
I always play it when I'm working on my car.

Haha I'm afraid not. Summer is short here.
The last snow usually melts around the 15th of April, then the first real warmth comes around by the middle of May/early June.
Random snowfall is not uncommon throughout all of summer.

Greatest ally.

power of bad sleep schedule

Gonna buy a case of Karhu tomorrow. 24 big bottles for 15 Euro from a friend.
Thank you Finland for making the best beer.

Jesus. The only time it would happen in France is way up in the mountains. Last winter it barely reached 0°C as well (and it didn't snow ofc).
What's you guys daily apparel ? Extra thick socks and thick underpants on top of your regular clothes ?
Does your sleep schedule really changes in winter ?

The north is cold :)
Clothes? Well, layers is the key to being comfy.
Usually t-shirt, wool sweater and a parkas jacket for the upper body, long underwear (long johns), thermo-pants for the lower body. Plus boots, gloves, thick hat etc.
But everyone dresses their own way to stay warm.
The lowest temp here last year was -39.

Pic related is a good idea (same for male/female) of how you should dress in these temperatures.

I changed it by myself by staying up until 6am
