its really only different if you live on a really small island like in the pacific or Caribbean where youre always right by the ocean and its a tropical paradise and everyone is all relaxed and happy with tourists wandering around everywhere

I live in a cool neighborhood that has a mix of historic old houses and apartments, with some more modern apartments.

Also many of the houses are subdivided into rentals. So we have stores and offices but you can still have a yard or something for the dog.
