These are mostly bots. No real responses except to the general theme and yoneach other, and it’s always 1 post by each ID.

>mostly bots
OMG holder detcted

Except I am not a bot and just posted the source. I am just so fucking disgusted with ETH and OMG at this point. Complete shitcoins but I can't sell either because of how furious I would be if they then somehow pumped

ETH isnt a shitcoin and never will be

OMG might be one though.

All this bug affects is the interaction of those tokens within the ethereum blockchain, which means that, traded by themselves, these tokens are perfectly fine.

No reason to panic, this can likely be fixed.

>Well I’ll tell you one coin not on that list:

TBC coins are the most valuable currency in the world because they are the first “Abundance-Based” currency and during the wealth creation phase of our global currency roll out you have the opportunity to become Millionaires and Billionaires automatically from a single one-time purchase of TBC coins. Kringles are the smallest change of TBC coins and most of the Community prefer to refer to the units of value in Kringles instead of TBC. The main thing to understand is that we, by private agreement, will never let the price of our coins go down in value.

this doesn't impact existing contracts

Kek, both are not affected at all.

Also, LINK is not an erc20, but an erc677.

Shut up pajeet

So, literally a non-issue. The guy says himself the biggest risk is for a newer decentralized exchange compiled under 0.4.22 or above would be unable to interact with the faulty erc20s natively, yet writing a wrapper function for them is trivial.
Concerned tokens could just as well write a 1:1 automated transfer contract to a newer format fixing the problem, much like MKR has done last year and the whole thing went through seamlessly.
