LINK holders are in it for the token right? Everybody is in crypto so they can sell a coin at a higher price, that's the only reason people own coins.

Even if they can switch, it's not needed for the current project. Why? Because it's all pretty basic. Ropsten is based on ETH. It's their test net.

LINK just collects data from 1 point and adds it to another. The project is simple and generally not needed.

There won't be a Mainnet Q3 and here's why:
Nothing of interest is in the chainlink-repo as of today. Right now it is nothing morw than a JSON Parser.
There is no API Propagation for Node Operators.
There is no Congregation Code to determine how far the deviation can be. How big can the results deviate? What about the time deviation? Is this fixed or is it configureable when setting up the contract?
