Well it's true that as far as smart contracts go, NEO is one of the few where you can right now actually write contract and run them, do coins and licenses on the chain, access storage and all this spiel, set up private nets easily and so on.
It works on Ethereum of course and on EOS, but there are so many projects (e.g. Cardano) that are far far behind it.
