Im a turk

And just learned a year ago that real turks are central Asian mongoloidish nomadic Turkics.

For some reason I never stopped to wonder about Turkish appearance.

I tell my family about this type of turk and they think I'm talking shit

Anatolian Turks look the same as your average Mongol..

Attached: Sibel-Kekilli.jpg (2048x1536, 438K)

that's impossible, turks are european

1. Turks are fully aware (and in full denial) of their Central-Asian origins
2. Turks very clearly have mongoloid features

He is very gud looking.

Aware maybe, but yes many choose not to believe.

And turks are barely mongoloid in appearance. I'm a turk and am fully Caucasoid with some Albanian background. Most turks look Balkan, some Arab/Iran and 1 in 20 look a bit turanic/mongoloid. I know two turks with a mongoloid look out of my whole Turkish year level in highschool. They where mocked by us

What's your Cephalic Index?

Attached: Cranial_Cephalic Index.jpg (1107x1036, 371K)

He is "Jew" Ezra miller. I suspect he is a fake Jew and is of khazar Turkic descent

I'm meso. On appearance I'm no turk. I have red hair and blue eyes

>Turks very clearly have mongoloid features

They very clearly have none
Which is logical since they aren't even 50% ethnic turks

Nasal Index?

what a cutie, she looks so pure and innocent

Turkish vs Turkic

Nigga, ofc you have not much asian features. Majorly you came from modern day Turkmenistan and northern Iran. Which was a part of gokturkic khaganate. If our culture originated from asian looking guys, that doesn't mean we have to be one

My highschool crush was Turk and looked like she came straight out of a K-pop video

Statistic anomaly

Does he also look a Turk?

You tell me

Yes
What do you mean "our culture"

The Japanese language and Turkish languages are related and sound similar BTW. For example Sagan tosu is Japanese but are basicly Turkish words

Turkic culture

Are you Tatar or something?

Yes, i thought it was obvious

Well congratulations, your more of a turk then I am

This is a weird thread

The Albanian BVLL strikes again, you look Caucasian because of the Illyrian genes

Haha, yes sir. My maternal side has some Albanian. I am a turk, but proud of Albania and love albania

Not by your definition tho, we wuz not nomadic/mongoloish/central asian
What's your problem? Identity crisis or what?

Pretty based

We both share common ancestry to the Turkic nomads. It is distant in you but even more distinct in us Anatolians. Us Turkish republic mixed with Persians and Balkans, in my case Albanians. And you Tatars mixed with the ethic Russians, but you probably have a higher rate of Turkic blood due to your proximity to the Turkish homeland

Were you get that info? Totally incorrect
1) Again. You (anatolians) came from Turkmenistan/northern Iran, you was originally not asian, turkic culture because your original area where you came from was part of west turkic khaganate. Having turkic culture doesn't mean your ancestors are like Tuvins. Yes little mix here and there, but nothing critical.
2) We have almost nothing common genetically with russians. Mixes became a thing in ussr times, but was really rare even then.
Kazanlar are still bulghars/kypchaks. Misharlar are still burtases. Others (astrakhani, crimeans, siberians) was heavily assimilated tho

You're wrong, the Oghuz tribes settled in the modern day Nogai area and later on invaded Persia, the Caucasus, Ukraine, Iraq, Syria and finally Anatolia. The Oghuz tribes are the "original" Turks who essentially gave birth to Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey

The genetic Turkic component of Anatolians is about 10%. Anatolians are part of the oghuz turk tribe and Tatar turks are of the Tatar tribe.

Anatolia was founded by the oghuz Turkmen/Seljuk turks who assimilated the locals, after via the ottoman empire, other Balkan peoples were gradually added to the Turkish gene pool.

Oghuz turks and all Turkic peoples original homeland is current day mongolia, not iran or the western khaganate- this was just a settlement on the way to anatolia.

And yes, Tatars are mixed with ethnic Russians and maybe some other Caucasus people. Most of you look Russian like Marat safin. Some of you look more mongoloid/turanid.

Marat safin is not mongoloid as were the original turks

This is what I was trying to say, well done

Attached: 1474192676318.jpg (1205x827, 284K)

> Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey
So, areas that I meant, I wasn't talking in specific names, but basically.
Marat Safin doesn't look russian, he's mishar, that's burtas genes.
And there is no such thing as tatar tribe, we became settled in 9th century
Turanic looking are kypchacks, genetically native to our lands
White looking are mishars
Kazan tatars are kypchacks/bolgars
We have nothing to do genetically nor with russians, nor with "original" turks, but we originated from west turkic khaganate and turkic culturally

You said they aren't real turks, but they literally are. They are just the western turks who settled down into the northern Caspian sea, they still are turks.

There is no thing as Turkic look retarded Armenoid, we are federation of tribes which shared common culture and language. That doesn't mean that if you look different from another tribe that you aren't Turkic

What I'm saying you are not "original" turkics (Tuva-like eastern asian) that was mixed so heavy to create modern turks. And proto-turkish guy probably would have almost identical genes with modern turkish guy, except some minor balkan/armenian influence

>The Japanese language and Turkish languages are related and sound similar BTW.
Disproven fringe theory
>For example Sagan tosu is Japanese but are basicly Turkish words
Nope

So do you consider yourself a turk or not?
Also, do you consider Anatolian to be turks?

Answer is in my post already, yes we are turkic tatars
Anatolians are turkic as well

uzun yaşamak türkler!

it's simple

modern days turks: Turkified Europeans and Anatolians

OG Turks: central asiatic warlords who turkified the region in the first place

I'm blonde hair, blue eyed, 6'3 tall and both my parents are turks from thracia

she's closer to a Scandinavian than to a Mongol cause she's a Caucasian Med

Cool look for a turk. I'm red haired and blue eyed turk but I know of my European background (Albanian) so its no surprise to me.

My family are from kayseri

KeK

at least they are aware....

Theories about the ancestral homeland of Turks are disputed, all we know is that the original Turks were Central Asian, which means that there's a high possibility that they were already halfway or even majority caucasoid in features, it's hard to tell since Turks as we know them today started off as nomadic people of mixed Caucasian, Central Asian, Greek, Balkan, Slavic, Anatolian and Middle Eastern origin

In other words they are mutts, and that's what their actual identity should be built upon instead of periodically we wuzing as Greek, Persian, Mongol, Arab, Hittite etc.

This is the dumbest shit I've read all day. Turks are well aware and not in denial at all. In fact, the dumb nationalists wave it around like it's something to be proud of.

Not to mention, modern Turkish people have little central Asian DNA to be begin with. Pretty much any genetic study on the topic will tell you Turkish people are a mix of ancient Anatolians, Caucasians (from the Caucasus), and Balkan people. They got their language from them, sure, but their ancestry is pretty mostly Middle Eastern/Caucasian and, to a lesser extend, southern European.

You just don't get it. It's hard to explain. Us turks take our ancestors seriously, no matter how far back, that's what we relate most too.

Its sort of like the Osman royal family. Ethnically they are like 1% turk, but their ancestor was the great Osman the turk and hence they consider them self son of Osman, or osmanoglu
