Dunno about schools, but I have read articles on how Finland had plans of expansion in 1918 just the other day
What I eould really want to know is the ethnic policy of Finland in those years. I remember that Russian garrison was interned first thing in the independence/civil war thing, but for the rest I have only heard about harsh treatment of defeated Red Finns and stuff

They teach to us at school that the barely any whites died at red camps or were executed while around 10% of reds were shot or died at camps. Russian troops made around 10k of 100k red forces and around 10% of the Russians were executed or starved which is the same percentage as red Finns had. So yeah, think it had nothing to do with ethnicity but just ideology. I remember statistics they taught at middle-school and later on at HS being pretty much the same as here:
