Americans will defend this
Capitalism was a mistake

el capitalismo fue un error....
Geez I wonder if someone could have foreseen it... Oh wait
This is something the Nordic countries have figured out ages ago.
>society changing based on changing situations for generations
>flexibility is bad
fucking retarded faggot communists
>Blaming capitalism when it's the commies fault for making everything so expensive through taxes
Bad post
Gee I wonder if that has anything to do with the rise of technology.
>no one has good answers
These people aren't even self aware.
No young people will go greyhound racing anymore in my country because young people can't afford it anymore. It makes me sad. Every year passes and less and less people show up to our tracks and meetings. More and more of my old friends die every year and in a few decades they will all be forgotten and our tracks will be closed. All that will remain is me all alone with the memory of the beautiful old people I once called friends.
Of course it has to do with technology. Point is workers have been making less while stockholders and managers are making more
but the people who work with technology make significantly more than the typical worker. You're also forgetting the enormous establishment costs of automation / server farms etc.
What that graph shows, if anything, is that we're getting more bang for our buck from human labour aided by technology, not that we're stealing from labourers.
That couldn't be more incorrect
i want boomers to fucking DIE
Me too. If I ever get into a position of power I will start beheading everyone who owns more than 1 home.
Americans should be banned from discussing politics
When will we rise up?
You know who is responsible, right ?
The Christians?
Ah yes only europeans should be allowed to talk about american politics you fucking brainwashed media addicted freak
Tbf those two posters were either trolling or braindead.
Thank God at least we are dying younger and in worse conditions
nobody asked you zoomer
You're a complete fucking idiot.
It's dropping from heroin addiction and suicide, it has little to no affect on the working force because these people generally don't get jobs.
:(
????? What are you talking about? To simply my point to a simple greentext:
>Inc inc has 30 employees at 40 hours making 300 cars a week
>Porky goes and buys new hardware for $10 million
>Inc inc can now put out 600 cars a week with 30 employees at 40 hours a week
>Somehow the employees should be paid more
Explain where I went wrong.
BASED
You're miscounting technical staff and engineers who get employed as soon as new hardware is set
>but the people who work with technology make significantly more than the typical worker
Rather the very opposite development.
A storage worker used to be a job where you go to school to learn for for 3 years here. Such a Person earned a good money, he needed to memorize many things and understand storage keeping technologies etc.
Now this is a Minimum wage job because now the Person doesn't need any understanding. He puts on Headphones and a computer voice will tell him: "get this, get that etc." So that is what he does the entire day. While the work itself is entirely devoid of any human capacity (the human here is just the operator arm of the computer" it's suprsingly complicated to get an allowence to take break to go to piss.
This is working with technology. This is what digitalitation will bring in the first place to many if not most jobs.
Seriously all you have to do to keep americans in shit conditions is to tell them anything that would make life better is communism
>free market good
>but you still have a moral obligation to consume certain goods to support the industry
do americans really not see the contradiction here?
I fail to see how this is an argument. Do you cry for ticket takers on the train? Things evolve
holy fuck you actually think communists run the economy?
Big business has got too cocky. But that doesn't mean we need to go full retard communism.
I would argue the opposite. As porky invests more the less human interaction is needed. Money is spent elsewhere in the business.
Coke for example has dark factories and I am sure many other companies do too. Elaborate on exactly what you mean in relation to my post.
communists: globalist cucks
capitalists (when I don't like them): globalist cucks
therefore they're one and the same
but the jobs involving storage machinery delivery, installation and maintenance come u because of the technology
It's just that people here used to work in human condition and not like mashines.
They used to have some understanding of what is going on.
Working conditions went down the shitter and job datisfactory basically will be removed.
At the same time of course the productivity increased a lot just the the dude who does the more labour in the same time gets the minimum allowed wage (he would get even less if it were legal).
Now you can even increase the efficiency just by pressing a button basically (just put in the option the computer voice 10% faster) and now the worker works 10% faster for the very same wage.
My point is Digitalization and the extraction of value goes entirely away from any human needs.
Based and freedompilled
God Bless!
for this you need 2 people.
(in the past you needed 200).
Massive increase of efficiency. Just that not those two people earn 200 times more. They earn maby 2% more.
>actual commies
Fuck off scum. Go live in rural China.
>inb4 standard leftypol reaction to this image
Hahaha you fucking illiterate it's not porky's imaginary number ratio. There are two different knflation deflators used in the original graph which accounts for like half of the disparity
They didnt need a study to tell we were less well off. Its unavoidable to have more debt, wages have stagnated our whole lives and the price of living had increased. TV and Radio were free, a landline wasnt too bad but now everyone needs internet and a cellphone. Housing and transportation have also drastically increased.
I'm not a marxist in anyway but it's pretty obvious how capitalism is shiet even without posting statistics.
I wish marxist would actually talk more about what capitalism did to the human soul instead of this.
Ok I should clarify. I am a strong believer in UBI
Socialism believes in zero exploitation and social ownership of labour
UBI(ists?) believe in a dignified life in a post-labour society.
The good thing about UBI is that it is coming closer every single day and it's completely devoid of any political ideologies.
>My point is Digitalization and the extraction of value goes entirely away from any human needs.
Which is why UBI will meet your needs and leave you with infinite time to explore any avenue you like.
I should also clarify that I am pretty drunk. Hope this all makes sense
Im so stoked at the fact that universal free wifi will likely be a thing in my lifetime.
I cant argue with any of this
At least you are guaranteed a job and income under a communist society. In capitalism it’s sink or swim.
You see, you can't really fully automise industry as the more machines you have, the more people you need to look after them, so, even if quantity of employees lowers, you still need a significant amout of people to control automised systems so basically the process industry. Plus, I think you don't take into account the fact that it's cheaper to hire some ooga boogas in Bangladesh to work on a factory than to automise it. And, finally, I assume that you don't know that any person who exchange his labour force for payment fits into the definition of a prole, not only those who work on factories
Corporations obsessed with stock prices and Globalization.
You mean Universal Basic Income?
correct.
And where is this supposed to come from?
How is it shit if it's the best system there is?
Commies find the most inane shit to complain about meanwhile there is literally no excuse for being poor in the first world if you have an IQ above 90 and the immense success of the capitalist economy funds huge welfare states
The only reason why it's cheaper to hire ooga boogas is because at the moment it's cheaper. Once technology advances and becomes increasingly more mass-manufactured it becomes viable to use machines.
Communism is inevitable & it's going to be bloodless.
>Its unavoidable to have more debt
wow capitalism sounds amazing...
>storage machinery
Just one dude somewhere in India who programmed it for 100 bucks.
The storage worker does the physical part.
Yeah but instead of being fired the government punishes you the way it would other crimes for shitty performance
You have to be a complete fucking retard to support the communist ideology
In the US if you did your homework and didn't make bad career decisions you have no excuse to not have a job unless you qualify for medicaid and social services
even ig it were the best thats doesnt mean it isnt still shit.
meme argument and you know it. How will anybody pay for ANYTHING in a society where every conceivable job can be done by AI?
In a society where the population is highly educated with infinite free time there will ironically be more capitalist endeavours. The state in such a society will provide near infinite resources to allow startups to flourish and then heavily tax successful business.
Imagine Boeing. They must spend billions a year on training and deploying engineers. Now imagine if you had an AI that could respond within milliseconds and deploy anywhere in the world in an hour. If the state taxed at 80% that 20% just from savings is still a great pay check, even today in a society with trillion dollar companies.
He doesnt know they never know. The obvious solution taxes will just burden the middle class more. They should tax investment banks and corporations directly but they are good at wiggling out of paying.
Hurrr muh futurism muh luxury automated communism muh anarcho syndicalism muh 1800s religion
You people are like ISIS. "The caliphate will conquer the world eventually! It's inevitable! Mohammed said so!"
>not have a job unless
Even if the jobs breaks you as a Person physically and you died from it early earning barelly enough to survive?
Many jobs develop exactly into this direction. With digitalization you can squeeze out maximum efficency of your workforce with maximum work density.
...So? People who create machines and maintain them are proles too, and in your model of fully-automatised society they will hugely increase in numbers, so the proles won't disappear
That's not capitalism that's our fucked up college system.
Do you honestly think that if you produce a 100 dollars of value for the company that you should get those 100 dollars all for yourself?
Even if the equipment you're working with is worth millions and was bought by your company?
Even if the company is taking all the risks and running on someone else's initial investment?
Fucking commies, I wish I owned a factory with 10k workers just so that I can shut it down, lay everyone off and bathe in the butthurt of the ingrates
Well everything is shit in life if you're 85 IQ and ugly
>meme argument and you know it. How will anybody pay for ANYTHING in a society where every conceivable job can be done by AI?
So.... this is the power of marxist "intellectuals"...
Right now with the gilets jaunes.
>population is highly educated
This is a meme.
It's always only a fraction of society having the mental capacities for higher education (inb4 art and humanistic degrees count as "high education now").
No society will ever be only academics with valuable needed degrees. It will not even ever reach 10% without abondoning any standards in these fields.
what system do you think colleges abide under?
you can only post under this line if you're a NEET with stable income that will never work a day in his life
------------------------------------------------------------
How is that relevant at all to my point? Only
Get in your cage, wagie
it wont happen because the american middle class will stop it because they're raised to think they are just rich people in waiting
I wish, if you're dumb and ugly life is probably a lot more simple
>Even if the jobs breaks you as a Person physically and you died from it early earning barelly enough to survive?
Work regulations still exist and the jobs that hurt you get better pay than others because of this fact.
>with digitization
Pay will rise as businesses become more profitable and they compete for workers.
>could have said cagie but didnt
Yeah dude just give me free shit lol fuck productive people
On a side note to the German you realise that fucking tradies can earn >200k a year in aus right?
Heaps go on to get their master builder license and make over a million a year in whatever business they started
Sorry taxation isn't theft
Except the ones doing the competing will be AIs, humans will be woped out by tailored plagues and poison gas.
>Even if the company is taking all the risks and running on someone else's initial investment?
You take just as much risks as the.
You just as much lose your job as them.
Tho likely you will not have anywhere close as much assets in your back as them and won't find as easy a new job as them.
Technically you take a greater risk without even the choice to take less.
And also the mashines where bought with the accumulated labour and profits of before and don't come out of the void suddenly into your pocket. And it's not even your Pocket but that of some "Sharehoders/Investors" that except to get payed more than they give.
Read this
>tradies are rich in australia
ahhh i love living in a 2nd world country masquerading as a 1st world one
>he thinks productive people are properly compensated
>Work regulations still exist and the jobs that hurt you get better pay than others because of this fact.
This is only in your dreams kek.
>Pay will rise as businesses become more profitable and they compete for workers.
Another myth. Entirely fantasy.
You *really* *honestly* think it's a good argument that if all current jobs *can* *theoretically* be replaced by robots they will disappear overnight? Do you know how much it costs to make a robot to make a fucking burger? Ever heard of supply and demand?
Yes have you ever heard of ROI?
>only in your dreams
Yeah so I guess I can pay my movers minimum wage and my work can just do anything that's illegal with no consequences lol
>another myth
Then why have wages continously gone up forever despite 90% of jobs being replaced from 100 years ago?
>thinking UBI is a good thing
>thinking your masters who treat you like a literal slave and control your only means of living is a good thing
grow a pair of balls you fucking brainwashed dumbass
This is cherry-picked as fuck.
World War II was what built our economy back up after the great depression. Many of the rich lost all their wealth or a significant portion of it, so it reset a lot of people to equal footing.
Hi there !!! Don't forget to stop by tomorrow at Applebee's, we are celebrating Cheryl's birthday, you know Cheryl from Accounting. Hope to see you there !
Just because r grows faster than g, g still continues to grow as a direct result of r. Also it's generally a good thing that r grows so that more and more money goes into investment in tech
>Yeah so I guess I can pay my movers minimum wage
I thought dumb physical labour is minimum wage in every country.
>Then why have wages continously gone up forever
Corelated with inlfation (rising costs of living) wages been stagnating since the end of the 80s basically everywhere in the west. IT wages skyrocketet tho. Sad 98% sf people don't work there so it doesn't matter at all for a society.
I agree with this desu, but it's probably going to happen anyway just as way to sustain the market
Do you prefer that we continued living in feudalism?
You don't take more risks. If you get laid off, you just find a new job. It's not like you'll walk away with a billion dollar debt.
If you got 100 dollars for 100 dollars worth of produced value, those machines would never have been bought in the first place. You'd be working with sticks under the open sky.
And the company would never grow, or modernise or even come to existence in the first place.
You can't possibly deffend the "these lines should be inseparable" (on a graph with the shared axes) mantra. I mean you can but you'd just be wasting time and acting like a retard
anyone who thinks we don't still live in feudal societies is a pleb. the context has changed is all
>wages
If you only count pre tax cash income sure but real compensation which is what companies actually pay their workers has been doing fine even at the median despite massive influx of third world minimum wage workers
