Britain, drugs n shieeet u know

It is interesting actually. We joined Mexico because the capitalinos still wanted royal privileges and they thought they could keep them joining mexico and bailing out when Fernando VII came back. That never happened though, so chiapas stayed and we becaue the CAR and almost immidiately the capitalinos basically acted like jerks, acquired massive debt, and could barely maintain an army while taxing the provinces heavily. There simply was not a big enough army or infrastructure to keep everything in check and the capital basically kept acting like it was colonial times and they ran everything. Dissolution was...natural in these circumstances.

Lack of infrastructure to maintain supply lines and a culture that still was half still waiting for the crown to return

so basically third world people acting like third worlders

More complex than that but sure

I never understood why there are so many countries in S.America
Essentially they all are Spaniards mixed with amerindians and speak the same language.

Geography sucks to cross in the 19th century

>sudacas wanted fernando VII to come back
tbf we also made the same mistake

spain

*Criollos

eggsplain

But criollos were the ones who revolted because we did not let them trade with *nglos and peninsulares cucked them out of adminstration in the colonies.

Some do, but mostly at first Criollos didn't wanted to have an independent nation, but pledge allegiance to the king and administrate the land in there.
Basically they were forcing an administrative division.

The criollo was split and this was the true conflict.

Then why did bolivar and san martin larped as the patria grande and the we wuz incas and shiet?

Because they were not indicative of the general population and their "myth" came after the fact. Independence was a traumatic process for most of Latam.

See
I was not saying every criollo wanted the same.

Wouldn't this have been enough to satisfy most of them?
TBF criollos who supported us were kind of cucks considering we didn't let them do anything

I dont think they larped as incas, they did wanted all of latinamerica to be a single country tho

argies did

>independence was traumatic in LatAm
Then why did they become independent

Short version? Spain gave up.
Long version would take a book or two.
