Riding horses is a popular girls hobby here. Really nothing limited to the wealthy. My sister did for a while.
Like a donkey I guess, there is no need for horseback riding equipment but you can't stop them from taking a dump on the road whenever they feel like it. Strong since they move in muddy waters but lazy ans prefers just soaking in the waters all day then storks would take the bugs off them.
Gonna have to go to Borneo or Philippines to ride them now, some mountain rice farmers still use them since a large harvester can't climb the mountain terrace farms.
