Russians want to have full control over Black Sea and Danube river, because it is being planned by the Chinese as a main trade route to Europe in their Silk Road plan. Moldova is very important from this point of view

Yeah, the Chinese bought Pireus, but you can't really establish a fast and stable trade route through Southern Europe because it is very mountainous and Balkan region is unstable politically, and still a source of future wars that are beginning right now as we speak. Black Sea and Danube are an optimal gate to Europe for China. Russia wants to control it to win a lot as a broker in future trade between Western Europe and China. That's why i think that if a bigger war in Europe begins, it is going to be crawling mainly all along Danube line, through Ukraine, to Moldova, Balkan countries and generally all countries through which Danube river would be affected by it

but a few years ago, they turned into an "optional language" or "minority language" so you can either learn Russian at Russian schools or by choose it as a replacement foreign language instead of, say, German or French (if the school has teachers who teach Russian as an optional language)

I don't think so. If you were a leader of China, would you like your country to be dependent in trade with Western Europe on fucking Russia? Just answer honestly. It is not a coincidence that Silk Road is being projected as a highway of trade going through southern perimeter of Russia: all these mongolians -stans, Chechnya, Turkey and so on. It secures two Chinese interests: 1) it makes the trade safe from Russian political will, so Chinese don't need to be afraid that Russia betrays them or demands from them money and things in exchange for trade freedom, 2) it makes the souther regions of Russian Federation gravitate economically and politically towards China, which makes China stronger and accelerates disintegration of Russian Federation

China can't really push most of its trade with Western Europe through Russia as you say (Ust-Luga, Belarus, Poland), because these trade routes are under full control of Russia. In case of Poland Russia and Germany can simply make a bypass on the Baltic Sea, which is free of American navy influence, like they did in case of Nord Stream if Poland became nasty, it costs from little to nothing. But this bypass is still controlled by Russia. China can't also push most of its trade through Polar Silk Road, because it is also controlled mainly by Russian forces in Arctica, and the output of the route is being controlled by American navy. Mediterranean Sea is also strongly penetrated by American navy.

So Black Sea and Danube are probably the most important gate of Silk Road to Europe if the Chinese really think about establishing it in near future.

All that couldn't be farther from the truth. No one is going to trade anything through Chechnya, and while the Chinese do have plans for an alternative route through Iran and Turkey,it doesn't look too viable:

Only around 10-20% of the trade would go through Central Russia, Ust-Luga, Belarus and so on. Maybe even less. Sorry to bring you back to reality. China is a master in diversification. It doesn't want to be dependent on anybody, and especially on such a geopolitical entity like Russia which likes to rotate itself by 180° in its policy, dependening who pays and offers it more. The Chinese project their system of trade routes independent from American navy also as being independent from Russia mostly. They are kind of smarter than you would wish them to be. If the Chinese were dumb, they would buy gas and oil mainly from Russia today instead of creating portfolio of suppliers consisted of dozens of countries.
