I met this guy in the late 90's. He was on a fishing trip at the lodge my family owns, I was a teenager and working there. He seemed like a good person, he was always friendly and respectful of us working at the lodge, basically he was cool-grandpa-tier. It was only later that I read about him and realized how important he was to the United States and geopolitics in general. RIP. I don't get it either, and we have the same thing going on with Justin Trudeau. His father had policies that I disagree with, but the man was still an intelligent and decisive leader. His son is not qualified in any way to be the head of a government. If his last name wasn't Trudeau he would still be part-time drama teacher or bartender or whatever the fuck he did before getting into politics.
