Best non-nordic country in Europe.

If you can't handle people being rude all the time despite living in relative paradise you're going to have a bad time, also this is a terribly classist society if you're poor you're a nobody here.

No idea its like they don't exists

literally France

sounds like Switzerland. My grandma calls people with money "geniuses" and poor people "idiots" lmao

Accurate. Almost all the sterotypes of Paris are identitcal to the sterotypes about Vienna.

-People are rude
-They think themselves superior to everyone
-The only thing of value in life for them is money
-The city is beautiful beyond belief but the people are ugly inside

She's right you know.

is it true austrian motto is "austria shall rule the world"?

This guy in pic related must be a genius of epic proportions then. Also, it's common knowledge that if you win the loterry, steal money or evade taxes, your IQ jumps by 50 points.

kek yeah but its a bit rude to say. When I was young and wasn't doing well in school she gave me a compass for christmas and told me to find a direction in life. That was a sad xmas kek

Most comfy country in Europe.

that is pretty 10/10 in my book

A lot of poor people are just lazy or have a stupid mentality though. At least in Switzerland. They seems to think that the government owns them something. I know people that complains about the government all the time despite being NEET

It's terrible here, very bad. Noone should come here.

Vienna is beautiful. The people were surprisingly friendly and the food was great, especially the cakes and pastries. Don't know about the rest of the country.

>A lot of poor people are just lazy or have a stupid mentality though

As someone who grew up poor as shit and know owns a half million Euro apartment under 30 that is factually wrong as hell. Most rich people inherited their wealth, you know what you have to do to inherit wealth. Have your parents die, that's it. No degree, no hard work absolutley nothing you have to do. Wealth passes down with generations and somehwere along the line an ancestor screwed somebody over, stole from somebody or scammed their way to wealth. Very rarely will you have someone earn wealth through hard fucking labor.

Also if you're already rich it's easy staying rich. Do you think poor kids have the luxury to go to college and earn no money for years? Nope. They have a family to support they literally cannot afford not working full time. And if you think the joke they call tuition here is acessible for you if you aren't part of the ÖVP, think again. Also you can't start a business if your monthly earnings are squeezed from you by landlords who charge exorbitant rents.

>As someone who grew up poor as shit and know owns a half million Euro apartment
Why don't you donate it to the poor, you capitalist pig?
You clearly screwed someone, it has nothing to do with being smart about investing your earned money.

define poor

like beggars and other lowlifes or just blue collars?

Well this is true but not all poors are the same. I know poor people that starting from the bottom managed to become middle class / rich. But I've also know poor people that complains and does nothing to change their situation. I found a job for a friend of mine who's always unemployed and he refused it. I think some of them influence each other into thinking its all a conspiracy and they'll always be poor. Said that obviously if you're middle class its easier to become rich

>Why don't you donate it to the poor, you capitalist pig?

I would if it wasn't social and financial suicide in this money obsessed society. And know with the neolibs in power I may risk fucking myself for heloing the poor, things would be diffrent if the people here werent retarded enough to keep voting against their intrests.

>You clearly screwed someone
As a matter of fact I did, as did nearly all rich people who arrogantly proclaim themselves of paragons of virtue and success.

I don't get why people keep saying that Vienna is beautiful. I don't see how the historic part is nicer than that of other European cities and unless you are rich you don't live in the nice part anyway. Plus it's basically a theme park for tourists at this point.

The comparison with France seems accurate though. Vienna is basically a downscaled version of Paris in many aspects.

>I don't want to give my wealth away, I rather give other people's.
Dich Kommunistensau sollte man aus dem Heli werfen. Und natürlich das Haus beschlagnahmen.

Blue collars aren't so poor here. Its mostly NEETfags

Poor as in: We can't afford to heat and you're getting 5 potatoes for dinner and being forced to beg in school cafteria to be given some food the early 2000s were harsh in austria for poor people. We had soviet like conditions while the rich ate caviar and banged 10 hookers at once. You cannot imagine how much I hate the rich.

>I know poor people that starting from the bottom managed to become middle class / rich. But I've also know poor people that complains and does nothing to change their situation

Life is difficult and complex. Not everyone manages to achieve the near impossible. You shouldn't be blamed for not succeeding, you are still a human being after all. And not everyone is prepared to sacrifice their morals, their mental and physical health for a pyramid scheme that is favored against them from the beginning.

Nice strawman, it's more like not wanting to be the only one landing on normandy beach on D-Day, because it would only result in you getting killed and nothing having changed.

I think the two countries are very similar, especially the german part of Switzerland. I've been to Austria many times, I speak the language so I know what the people are saying and I never experienced any rudeness

Pretty good if you do honest work

I don't think we're rude only a bit autistic. And often foreigners confuse the two things. Swiss people is like that with other Swiss too.

I kek'd hard 2bh

it is ordentlich and gemütlich at the same time

rather nice as a matter of fact

so is this a Vienna thing or an Austria thing?
Would a poor person be treated the same in Innsbruck?

Probably just Germanic mentality. But don't worry nobody will be rude with you imo

>while the rich ate caviar
That can have different meanings in a german speaking country so...

Sorry I didn't saw your answer. I agree with you on that I don't blame poors for not succeding. As long as someone work its ok. Its just that here I know people that complains all the time and would be dead in any normal country, because they're idiots.

but if you will very likely get a heat stroke in the basement

Tell that to Elisabeth Fritzl

>influence each other into thinking its all a conspiracy and they'll always be poor
THIS we have faggots happy on $500 a fortnight who simply pool their cheques. The government offers them free TAFE (up until you earn >$65k) but instead they have started a little racket to ensure their job application requirements are "met". You can only help the poor not the mentally poor.

not that bad

i think he was damn right.

Well I don't think poor people should be ashamed as long as they work. And some rich people should be ashamed on how they spend their money, other than that yeah its right
